Hi Bev! You're much braver than I am. I've been itching to enjoy a nice restaurant meal but too afraid to take the plunge. I've been venturing to the stores again, with a mask and a lot of hand sanitizer, and I got a haircut! Baby steps. Linking up this week in 27 & 28. Stay safe and have a nice weekend!
ReplyDeleteMarie,
DeleteI was really nervous but since it was a Wednesday, not many people were there and we had no one around us. If it hadn't been hubby's birthday, we would not have gone. I ran into Kohl's briefly to pick up something for my sister but that's all. I keep my mask with me always and lots of sanitizer.
I love what you did with the 70's coffee table. That fabric is perfect. Great job.
Hugs,
Bev
Bev,
ReplyDeleteMy Link Ups for this week are #55,56 and 57!! I hope your week is going well!!
Thanks so much for hosting each week!! Stay safe, healthy, happy!!
Hugs,
Deb
Debbie,
DeleteI love looking at all of your gardens. I especially miss having hens and chicks. I found some but they are different than what I am use to. I hope they do well. Your gardens are going to be beautiful when they begin to grown and expand.
Hope your weekend is going well.
Hugs,
Bev
Thank you for hosting! This week I'm at #'s 61 with how to prepare for canning season and #64 with our amazing salsa recipe. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteHubby loves his salsa. We don't plant enough tomatoes to can. He likes to eat them and I don't eat tomatoes. Your recipe looks great. maybe I can find a bushel to make some.
DeleteHave a lovely weekend.
Hugs,
Bev
Bev, thanks for hosting! While mostly homebond (our restaurants open at 50% capacity tomorrow), I've been armchair traveling by going through hundreds of photos from last year's bucket list vacation to South America. Sharing our amazing cruise in the Galapagos with wildlife photography to remind us that nature perseveres and so will we. #60. Meanwhile, I've updated my kitchen with coastal tableware and decor #62, and deconstructed personalized photo graduation decorations as inspiration to celebrate this year's grads #63.
ReplyDeleteDebbee,
DeleteOMG, I loved your trip to the Galapagos. I would love to go there but I have very bad vertigo and the idea of that boat rocky back and forth makes me feel ill. Was it really bad?
Great photos.
Hugs,
Bev
Our local restaurants are still pick-up only. I'm sharing my polka dot birdhouse #42. Thanks for hosting and enjoy your upcoming weekend!
ReplyDeleteAllyson,
DeleteHubby made some blue bird houses for the grandkids and they put them on trees near the edge of the field. I actually saw a blue bird at my fountain the other day. Boy was I surprised. Maybe he was heading up north.
Love your bird house colors.
Hugs,
Bev
I really appreciate you featuring my Lilacs and Lemons Tablescape! Thank you so much Bev and thank you for all your efforts in hosting this weekly gathering. I always enjoy checking out all the inspiration linked here! Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteLori,
DeleteYou are so welcome for the feature. I loved looking at your tablescape, especially since I love lilacs and lemons.
Have a wonderful weekend.
Hugs,
Bev
I'm loving your features this week Bev! Thank you for hosting. I'm linking a Greenhouse for Every Season #141, and How to Create Cottage Garden #142.
ReplyDeleteKim,
DeleteI love your gardens. You must live up north. We don't have those flowers here in central Florida. I miss many of those up north varieties. I agree that cottage gardens are the best.
Have a lovely Sunday.
Hugs,
Bev
Hi Bev! We haven't gone to any restaurants yet but I feel Starbucks magnetically pulling me towards it! lol Today I shared #87 and #88.
ReplyDeleteSuchot,
DeleteStarbucks does have a way of pulling you in and you can do drive through. That has been our only restaurant. Hope you get your Starbuck's fix.
Hugs,
Bev
Thank you for another GREAT party full of inspiring ideas and recipes. I love this week’s features. I brought my THYME BALSAMIC PORK CHOPS, RED PEPPER GLAZED HALIBUT & BANANA BEIGNETS with CREAM CHEESE DIPPING SAUCE. Have a GREAT week.
ReplyDeleteTamy,
DeleteAlthough I love to cook, desserts are my downfall and those banana beignets look so yummy. I have to try them. Yummy!
Hugs,
Bev
Hi Bev. Would you believe I don't even know if our restaurants are open? I'll check tomorrow. I'm pretty much still inside the quarantine bubble - never bored and constantly creating. It was such a week of grieving, and not at all peaceful like the moments I share in #157. I plan to write personal reflections this weekend as I allow my heart to open, break, and release words of healing. So much grace is needed in this time. Sending you hugs. xox
ReplyDeleteMichele,
DeleteStaying indoors is a smart move, especially since you have not been feeling up to pair lately. It is best to take care of yourself. Your bistro chairs are beautiful and can go anywhere. You have made a beautiful and cozy outdoor space.
Hope you feel better.
Hugs,
Bev
Hi, Bev! Restaurants are still take-out-only in my area, it was good that you ate outside and the place was not crowded. Thank you for hosting another great party; I am sharing #181 Conchas and Chilindrinas (two traditional Mexican sweet buns). Take care and have a great week!
ReplyDeleteIrene,
DeleteWow, three different kinds of bread. I didn't know that you could add cocoa powder to dough to make chocolate. Yummy!
Have a great day.
Hugs,
Bev

I want some of Kippi's chocolate cake! I've actually been to two restaurants in the last couple weeks. It was so nice to get out and feel a little normal. Glad you got out, too! I'm at 183 and 184 this week! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteJulie,
DeleteI want to make Kippi's cake too. I hope to this week. Glad you were able to go out to restaurants. It is s nice break. I love those folded Magnolia hangers. I love how you decorated them. You are a lucky girl.
Hugs,
Bev
