Over The Moon Linky Party
Welcome to Over The Moon Linky Party
Happy Sunday my friends and a special Happy Father's Day for all of you Dads out there. I hope you had a wonderful day. For a Father's Day gift I gave hubby my help. We worked the last two days in building shelves and a work bench in his shed. He was so excited. Of course, we are both exhausted now and too tired to cook, sounds like takeout.
What were your plans for today?
My favorite part of these parties is reading your comments. I feel like I get to know you and that we are almost like "texting" back and forth. You share your stories with me and I share mine - just like friends. So keep them coming.

Thank you for hosting! This week I've shared #19 with Bee Friendly Herbs & Plants as well as #20 with my families favorite potato salad recipe. Have a wonderful & safe week!
ReplyDeleteSuzan,
DeleteYour potato salad looks amazing. I have never heard of cucumbers or peas in potato salad before but I like them both. Yummy.
Have a lovely weekend.
Hugs,
Bev
Isn't that the way it goes!?! After all of that work, it ends up being take-out! We had a nice little dinner here with the kids. We are so lucky that all of our children live close enough that they can stop by. Each of the 3 older children that are married brought something for dinner and my 2 younger children who still live at home (20 & 23, so not that young) made something. I ended up making a salad, and that was all - so that was kind of nice. Thank you for hosting and for featuring our green beans and zucchini with bacon. Our links this week are: #43, #44, & #45. Have a great week.
ReplyDeleteAmy,

We had our first restaurant venture yesterday for Father's Day brunch. The four of us were a little nervous about it but they were diligent with social distancing policies so we relaxed and enjoyed ourselves. I hope your aches and pains go away quickly, Bev, and that you have a great week. Thanks so much for featuring my herb garden caddy! Linking up this week at 105 & 106. Hugs from Canada
ReplyDeleteMarie,

Hi, Bev; sounds like you had a Father's Day celebration for the whole weekend, with time shared with your husband! We went to Toronto to check on my in-laws and spend father's day together, a 3-4 hour drive from our home, and our first trip since the pandemic started. Thank you for hosting another great party, and special thanks for choosing my Stuffed Breasts in Green Sauce, I was thrilled to see my recipe amongst your features! This week I am sharing three recipes for this season: #108 Basic Garlic Scape Paste and with pumpkin seed; #109 Garlic Scape Papatzules and #110 Fish Filets in Garlic Scape Pipian. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteIrene,

That was a nice present of your time. It can be fun to work on projects together. A few years ago my husband and I built wooden raised containers for gardening. I love how they turned out and it was fun to build. Today I'm sharing #116 and #117. :)
