Hash Brown Waffles with Egg, Bacon and Cheese

We were camping this weekend and I wanted to make something special for breakfast. So why not make waffles out of hash browns, add eggs and some bacon.

I could put all the things I like into one dish. Sounds like a plan to me.

Fresh Peach Cream Cheese Braid

Nothing like a luscious breakfast braid in the morning. I needed something to send in to my husband's office.  Last year I made these Mango Cream Cheese Danish.

This year I had put some fresh peaches in the freezer  and decided to make one with peaches. However, my Mango Cream Cheese Danish requires 2 packages of crescent rolls and I only had one so I made it into a braid.

Well, here is a recipe that uses ingredients that are pantry basics, so you can bake up a batch on demand. Nothing special needed.

Double Chocolate Chip Muffins

You can never have too much chocolate - at least that is my motto. These muffins will put the zing in your step in the morning or anytime of the day.

Since I send most of my desserts into my husband's work, they are always asking for something chocolate so I thought these would be perfect.

Easy Breakfast Treat - Cinnamon Roll Bites

I love cinnamon rolls for breakfast on the weekends? Not long ago, we had company for the weekend and I wanted to provide a variety of breakfast menu choices. It was to be more of a "continental type" breakfast.

Mornings, Reflection and Blueberry Nut Streusel Coffee Cake

Mornings, Reflection and Blueberry Nut Streusel Coffee Cake

Some mornings are just quite ones. Do you ever have those?

A little time to reflect and be grateful for all that you have. I was thinking about that today and enjoying my tea with this lovely Blueberry Nut Streusel Coffee Cake.

We spend so much time running from here to there trying to get everything done that we don't often take the time to just sit and relax and reflect. Even if it is just for a few minutes.

California style breakfast

Not really sure if this egg dish is "California style" or not, but that is what my husband called it. I am here in LA visiting my daughter and she spots an egg dish on Pinterest that looks good. We all agreed, but since the only ingredient we had that was in the recipe was eggs, I had to make substitutions for the rest. Funny how adding a few other ingredients and voila a new creation.
