Vermont Summer Flowers
Lovely Vermont Summer Flowers
The one thing that I miss the most of summers in Vermont is the lovely summer flowers. We just don't have them in Florida. Here are some flower beds from my friend Joan.
Here is her Butterfly bush.
She has a row of these deep red Dahlias. They are so beautiful.
I wish I could have these in my yard but that won't happen in Florida. I am so delighted to be able to enjoy them while in Vermont.

What beautiful photos, Bev! Your friend really knows how to garden! I hope you get some lovely - more tropical - flowers in Florida to compensate a little for not having these. Thanks for sharing the gorgeousness!
ReplyDeleteBarbara,
DeleteYou are so right. She has a green thumb. I am trying to like the tropical plants in Florida, but I guess I long for the plants I had up north. I just have to get use to it. After all of these years, you would like I would by now.
Hugs,
Bev
Lovely! I never tire of looking at flowers.
ReplyDeleteMichelle,
DeleteI agree with you, I love looking at flowers. She has some beautiful gardens. Hope you had a lovely weekend.
