Confession….I’ve never had a
butter dish. We have always used a small plate and called it good. Sometimes I
would hide it in a cabinet but then inevitably butter would get on whatever was
already in the cabinet. In the summer I would worry about flies getting on it
and year round there was the issue of dust. Honestly it is silly that I never
bought a covered butter dish before this point. I can’t even tell you what was
stopping me, but when I added the opening shelving I decided it was high time to
get one.
Everyone experiences stress at some
time in their life. Be it from pressures at work, marriage difficulties, money
problems or from balancing housework and looking after young children. Everyday
life can be stressful.
Greece was among the last countries that learned about and
started to consume chocolate. In 1841 and while Greece was having half the size
of what it is today Pavlidis family opened a pastry shop in down town Athens.
In there they were selling baklava, lokums and other traditional Greek sweets.
The after the Turkish occupation newly born country and its high society are
hungry for new desserts and flavors.
Start
your day with an easy breakfast parfait! The rhyme and the ease are both
intentional here. This recipe is fast, delicious and nutrient packed.
Gluten-free, Paleo, low in sugar and full of a protein punch. The only thing
that’s not left behind is taste.
Easy Sweet Potato Soup Recipe
It has been chilly in Florida
lately giving me a craving for a nice soup to share with my family. I have been
brainstorming sweet potato recipes for a few weeks and I kept coming back to
Sweet Potato Soup! It is extremely easy to make in the slow cooker. You can
even prep the veggies at night and put them in the slow cooker in the morning.
Love how simple it is to make!
A Teaspoon of Goodness
It has been a very unique winter here in the valley for us as the temperatures have not spent 20 days in a row below zero. However, that hasn’t kept me from making one of my favorite winter foods! This Wendy’s Copy Cat Chili Recipe turns out delicious every time and as I’m the main one to eat it in my house it makes for a splendid freezer meal
