Wonderful Wednesday Blog Hop

Welcome to Wonderful Wednesday Blog Hop!

School started here on Monday.  Did your kids start school yet? I don't have kids in school these days, but I can't imagine them going back so early. My grand kids in Vermont, don't start until the 27th. School starting usually means that summer is coming to an end, but I am being positive that we still have lots of summer yet to go. How about you?

You're The Star - Creative Feature Week

Welcome to You're The Star - Creative Feature Week

Happy Monday! Welcome to another new week in August.  As with the other months, this month is flying by too fast. I know that many schools started today.  Remember when we started school after Labor Day. We had almost three months for summer vacation. Now students are lucky if they get 2 months. It's a new school year and I hope your kiddos have a good one.

Over The Moon Linky Party

Welcome to Over The Moon Linky Party

Happy Sunday! Well, this is getting old - it is still hot here. They say 2 more months and then a cool down. Looking forward to mid October for some cooler weather. How's your weather? We just did some things around the house. Power washed the walkway and trimmed some bushes. What has your weekend been like?

I hope you enjoy checking out my features and all of the amazing posts. Have a great week ahead.

Salvaged Plant Stand

Salvaged Plant Stand

My brother-in-law is always on the look out for things for me. My sister-in-law said that if we were married, our house could not hold all of things that we would collect. She is probably right. Although he lives in Georgia,(he gave me the peaches) he will call me from a garage sale or send a pic of something to see if I want it. He is the best, so when we were there a few weeks ago, he took me to a house (a friend of his) where he dug up a hydrangea for me. I am still nursing it. I hope it survives.

While we were there, he asked if there was anything I wanted. The people had moved out and left some things. One  of the things I got was this plant stand.
