Happiness Is Homemade

Welcome back to the Happiness is Homemade Link Party #228

I hope you had a great 4th of July if you are here in the USA. We had a lot of fun with our communities annual Parade and Festival. With the holiday being on a Wednesday, we here are all confused feeling like Thursday was another Monday. But it is so much fun to have another weekend after the 4th to spend with family. A perfect weekend for more picnics, barbeques, and patriotic kids activities. So happy we are full swing into Summer! ~Susan @craftingafamily.com

On with this week's features!

For every summer picnic, you always have a bunch of condiments that clutter up the table and never look nice. What a great idea from Live Craft Love to make your table beautiful.  BBQ Condiment Bar for Summer Parties.

Macaroni Salad is a picnic basic and I love the added creaminess of this Cheddar version. It looks amazing.  Kim from Cozi Nest has a roundup of 4 versions of Macaroni Salad.  The one featured here is from Jo-Anna at A Pretty Life.

You will fall in love with the Summer Patio Outdoor Beverage Cart and put this on your list of projects for next summer. The design from Jen at Clean & Scentsible will make any outdoor space a vacation.
There is nothing better than a casserole for your picnic. One dish that you can make ahead and reheat for your family get together. Check out Culinary Envy's Pepperoni Pizza Chicken Bake recipe.

Luscious Limoncello Cake

One of my Italian friends gave me a bottle of Limoncello and it has been in my refrigerator for a while now.  I finally decided to make something with it. I searched for recipes that used Limoncello and found one on Allrecipes that sounded really good.

Wonderful Wednesday Blog Hop

Happy 4th of July. Hope you have a wonderful day if you celebrate. Please be safe if traveling. Lots of people in the U.S. are traveling this holiday. It is reported that "a record-setting 46.9 million Americans are expected to hit the roads, rails and sky for the Fourth of July holiday".

I guess hubby and I are in those numbers since we will be traveling to Portland, Maine for my grandson's hockey tournament and after that back to Vermont with them for a few weeks.

Decorated Blue Bottles for the 4th

I wanted to make something "easy" for the 4th. In a previous post, Stardom Craft Liquid Markers, I showed you some wine bottles that I used the markers on. Here I will show you how I created them.
