Thursday Favorite Things Party
Welcome to Thursday Favorite Things Party
Happy Friday! It certainly seems strange meeting on Friday, but so nice to get together with you. I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving if you celebrated. Ours was very nice. A little small, only the 7 of us but so thankful to be able to spend it with family.
Well, today is the day, I start to decorated for Christmas. I always wait until after Thanksgiving. Heading up to the attic for decorations and then spending the day and weekend getting the house ready for Christmas. I am so excited. Lightup night was this weekend in our small town although the town has been decorated for weeks.
I know some of you wait until after Christmas, like I do while others are done. Since I am in the Christmas mood, my features this week will all be about Christmas.

Bev, really appreciate you featuring my diy Christmas cocktail balls! We are in Philly making merry at my son’s. Today we went to the large holiday market surrounding city hall, got him a live tree and decked his halls. Very festive and fun. I’ll start decorating after we get home. Takes me about 4 full days that I spread out over a week or more. Last two years I had to scale way back because of my foot surgery, and my Scottie dog passing in December. So this year I’m making up for it!
ReplyDeleteDebbee,
DeleteYou are so welcome for the feature at TFT. You always have such great ideas. Sounds like you had a really nice time with your son. I know you will be decorating soon. I have been working on the inside for a couple of days. it usually takes me around 4 days too. I want to make a couple of things after I get the decorating done.
Have fun.
Hugs,
Bev
Glad you had a nice Thanksgiving! My daughter's kindergarten class had a beach party today - it was so cute. They all came to school with sundresses and shorts and t-shirts underneath their snowsuits lol Today I'm sharing 113 and 114.
ReplyDeleteSsuchot,
DeleteWhat a cute idea for the kids. That had to have been so much fun. What a sight to see all of those summer clothes under snowsuits.
I always set a budget for Christmas. Usually I can stay with in it, sometimes I go over a little. Great post.
Hugs,
Bev

ReplyDeleteTamy,
