Thursday Favorite Things Party
Welcome to Thursday Favorite Things Party
Happy Thursday! Well, here I am driving up to Pittsburgh, PA. My sister's husband's Dad died yesterday. It has been a rough couple of months. At least I will be able to check on my Mom. She is so excited that I am coming.
I don't mind driving when it there is lots of sunlight but since the clocks were turned back, I will be driving in a lot more darkness that I would like. I just hope it doesn't rain. The roads are black enough without rain at night.
I will try to get to comments later in the weekend.
Many of my features come from you my commenters. Don't forget to leave your Linkup Number or Post Title so I can find you and you could become one of my featured commenters next week.

Thanks for the travel wishes.

Dearest Bev,
ReplyDeleteI'm feeling both honored and confused by this feature of yours... my ancient headboard is a TFT feature, I'm so, so proud you liked it!
I'm writing it at once on my blog post, since it graces it, for sure!
I thank you from the bottom of my heart...
Blessed be!
XO Daniela at ~ My little old world ~ (Dany) sweetlydreamingofthepast.blogspot.com
Daniela,
DeleteI did not mean to confuse you about your headboard feature. I just loved it and thought others would too. I hope I did it right, let me know.
I love your post on tea time. When I lived in England, one of my favorite things was afternoon high tea.
I continued it for a long time when I returned to the states, but sadly I got away from it.
Hugs,
Bev
Oh, this week I'm sharing link 63 and 66.
ReplyDeleteThank you once again
Dany

Shelley,
DeleteThank you so much for your kindness. I love all of your ideas for centerpieces, especially that wooden box. Each idea is better than the next.
Have a fabulous weekend.
Hugs,
Bev
I'm so sorry Bev, what a hard couple of months. Sending hugs and sunny days so you can drive in more daylight. xx Today I'm sharing #92 - I have started with Christmas posts :)
ReplyDeleteSuchot,
DeleteThank you for the sweet wishes. I really appreciate it. It has been a couple of difficult months. Thanks for the hugs, I need them.
I was at he Dollar Tree today and was so surprised at all of the kids things to buy. We bought a few things for the nieces. The Dollar Tree is amzing. However, you need to buy early, because it goes quickly. My new rule is, buy it when you see it, because it will not be there tomorrow.
Have a wonderful weekend.
Hugs,
Bev
Bev I’ll be thinking of you on the road, and am sorry for the family’s loss. Hope you get some quality time with your mom. Mine is here for another week. yesterday we visited with my 100 year old great aunt she is named for. Discovered gorgeous portraits of my French great-grandparents when they were young — never seen before!
ReplyDeleteDebbee,
DeleteYou are always so sweet. I am having a wonderful time with my Mom despite the funeral. Wish I could have seen you this trip. I hope we can do a spring get together.
