Amaryllis for Easter
You will see amaryllis blooming in many gardens here in Florida. They multiply and usually grow in a group so when they bloom, you see many of them and it is a lovely sight.
I have some in pots and others in the ground. The ones in the pots seem to bloom sooner than the ones in the ground, not sure why.
I love this pink variegated one. My Easter bunny is keeping watch on them.
The red is pretty too. There are so many varieties of Amaryllis.
I made these bunnies so many years ago out of plywood. I am surprised at how nice they have stayed. Probably one of these days, I will have to repaint them.
Hope your Easter is a lovely one.
