Happy Thanksgiving Canada

What a fun month, Welcome to Happiness is Homemade and we are more than ready For October.

This is my month, says Linda, I love hosting for October,. All the other months my amazing co-hosts share their favs. This month, A Labour of Life gets to share her love of Fall, Canadian Thanksgiving and Halloween, for this Canadian it is an amazing time of year.

Today, I celebrate Fall in all its glory with all things Apple. So many treats to sip and savour. Come show us what you are working on.

Apple dumplings evoke all the warm feelings of fall. Whenever I make these, it never ceases to amaze me how many memories come flooding in.

Halloween Decor Ideas on WWBH

Welcome to the party. I am so glad you stopped by. I am cleaning out the garage. What a huge project. We haven't done it since we moved in 5 years ago.

How do we accumulate so much stuff? I bought lots of clear containers to sort and label . I will finally know where my stuff is and I am traying to organize hubby. He is out of town. Everyone said, "he is letting you". Yes, he is. I do send pics if I have questions. It is coming along great, but it does take time to sort and go through boxes. I found stuff I forgot I had.

Dollar Tree Items for a Fall Tray

With fall here, there are so many items that can be used to create an autumn tray for your home. Sometimes these items can come from things you already have, from your yard, from the Dollar Tree or a combination of these. My Autumn tray is a combination.

For my Autumn tray, I found this light up pumpkin at the Dollar Tree. I thought it would be great for Halloween, but then realized that I wanted this tray to stay out all fall. That meant it had to change a little.

First off, I removed the black netting. It was still not right. The stem was black.

So I decided to wrap twine around the stem to fit in with the rest of my tray.

I found the ribbon at the Dollar Tree and made a couple of bows.

I had bought the pumpkin and leaf sprig at Hobby Lobby on sale. I already had the metal acorns, but you could use real ones or store bought ones. You could also use small pine cones.

I found the burlap leaves at the the Dollar Tree.

I also had the red and yellow leaf candles and some berries to put in the center.

I am sure you can find similar items to create a tray of your own. The great thing about fall, is that you will find so many great items that you can use to create your own Autumn tray.
