Happy Sunday! I hope you are having a wonderful Labor Day weekend. We are doing a little of this and a little of that. Working on a fall piece, scrubbed scatter rugs, pulled weeds, and some pool time. It is just the two of us, so it is rather quiet but nice. I didn't even cook anything special.

Happy Sunday everyone. I hope you are having a wonderful and yet relaxing Labor Day Weekend. Since it is labor day, we are laboring. I had so many little things that needed to get done. Hang a light, fix a trunk, do some sewing and work on a project. I also planted some seeds. Hubby said he didn't have much planned so I have been getting him to help me.I hope you continue to enjoy this last holiday vacation for awhile. It may be a different that usual, but we are having a quiet time by ourselves and enjoying it.

Thursday Favorite Things

Happy Thursday dear friends. I hope your week has been awesome. I went down to Davie, Florida to spend the night with my friend on Tuesday. We had such a great time. We laughed and ate and laughed some more. We try to get together every 5-6 weeks. Girls night is so special.
On Wednesday morning,we went shopping at JoAnn's, she needed some fabric and then to Home Goods. I love that store and have not been able to go since January. I was surprised to see so many nearly empty shelves compared to usual. Good friends are special.

Of course, it is back-to-school time and this year it is looking a lot different for many families. What is your family doing? Most of the schools in our community are doing 2 days in person 3 days at home, online. Some families have decided to homeschool, instead. Everyone is still celebrating back-to-school time, just the same!

Happy Monday. Here we are in the last day of August. Where did this month go? I guess it is onward to September. We actually had some cooler weather today, although it rained most of the day. The plants seem to love it and the grass is green. Tomorrow will still be a little cooler before heading back into the 90s on Wednesday. How was your weekend?
