Happiness Is Homemade Linky Party
Welcome to Happiness Is Homemade Linky Party
Happy Sunday everyone. I hope you are having a wonderful and yet relaxing Labor Day Weekend. Since it is labor day, we are laboring. I had so many little things that needed to get done. Hang a light, fix a trunk, do some sewing and work on a project. I also planted some seeds. Hubby said he didn't have much planned so I have been getting him to help me.I hope you continue to enjoy this last holiday vacation for awhile. It may be a different that usual, but we are having a quiet time by ourselves and enjoying it.
Happy Sunday and it's my Month. I know I normally handle October but this 2020 has me prepped for any kind of positive change. It's Linda from A Labour of Life and I am taking us Back to School this week. I love the Happiness is Homemade linkup and seeing what y'all are creating each week. Today I am sharing a few ease into Fall features I think you will like.
Pots and Planes has shared a delicious Potato and Leek Soup. And wowser her inspiration came straight out of the TV, courtesy of the Marilyn Denis Show and chef Christine Cushing. FYI my favourite show that I have on every morning when I am working.
Next up is a Velvet Pumpkin Cloche from Eye love Knots. Inspired through her monthly Pinterest Challenge. The purpose of the challenge is to inspire us to take elements from the inspiration, and use them in our own unique way.
A Concrete Fireplace from Cherished Bliss had me salivating. How stunning was this makeover? An old, ugly fireplace gets a complete budget friendly makeover. Head over to see the tutorial for this DIY Concrete Fireplace Makeover!
Could we have a Back to School week without a true BTS table setup. This funscape from Deb's Buzz had me ready to head back to see the teacher.
Because it is my week I do not have a special A Labour of Life Feature but I do have an extra. A sweet tea just seemed like the right thing to share. Cook Clean Repeat had me scrambling back to the kitchen to re-create this picture of cool refreshing tea.
