Happy Wednesday Everyone. I hope your week is off to a great start. Mine is great. Getting a lot of things done. Did you ever start a project and thought it was simple, just some paint and then you get carried away. What abut adding this or changing that? Well, that is what has happened to my latest project. I thought it would be done quickly, but no, it is taking a lot longer than I expected. Of course it is my fault since I keep changing and adding. I will be sharing soon, (I hope!)

Happy Monday morning. I hope you had a great weekend. We did a lot of this and that. We had some much needed rain.
Update on Louie. He is doing better. Getting a little rambunctious so that is a good sign. He is still dragging that back left leg but he is getting around better although I still carry him everywhere. My vet doesn't want him to walk much at all just yet.

Excellent Side Dish - Melting Potatoes
Every once in awhile, hubby actually looks at recipes. So he says, "we need to try Melting Potatoes". They taste like poutine. I think poutine is one of those dishes that you either like or you don't. We love it. Poutine is a dish that includes french fries and cheese curds topped with a brown gravy. It originated in the Canadian province of Quebec. When we are in Vermont, we always head to our favorite restaurant to get some poutine.

Happy Sunday dear friends. I hope you had a wonderful weekend. Ours was very nice - quiet as usual. Getting some projects done, but slower now since I still have to watch Louie and carry him everywhere. Hubby is working on his new addition. He bought an extra large carport with removable sides. We set it up beside his shed so he could put his riding lawn mover and other things inside it. He has been working cleaning the area around it up and organizing things.
When we set it up on Friday, we only had time to put all of the walls and the top canvas. The wind came up and I thought it was going to be air borne. I am trying to hold it down while he tied it down. It was rather funny.
My favorite part of these parties is reading your comments. I feel like I get to know you and that we are almost like "texting" back and forth. You share your stories with me and I share mine - just like friends. So keep them coming.
