Do you ever find yourself wanting to make a simple but lovely Christmas decor but don't have much time? Who has time this time of year, right?Well, that was me yesterday. I wanted something, but had no time. I was cleaning my pantry (hoping to find room for baking supplies) when I found some candy canes. They might have been from last year. Yikes! They were still wrapped.
What could I do with them to make them better and a pretty display as well.

Happy Sunday. I hope you had an enjoyable weekend. We spent the weekend putting up decorations. The outside is finally done and the tree is up. I have some other decorations done, but still need to finish the inside. Hopefully by tomorrow night.
The weather was so beautiful this weekend. We were out side most of the day on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The dogs were so tired that we had to wake them up in the morning - it was 8 o'clock.
How was your weekend? Are you done with your decorating? Have you done any baking yet? I hope to do some this week. I think tonight while watching a Hallmark movie I will make out my shopping list so I will have everything I need for my cookies.

Thursday Favorite Things
Welcome to Thursday Favorite Things!
I can't believe that Christmas will be here in only 20 days. For some reason it just doesn't seem possible. Are you feeling that way, or is it just me? Maybe because I have not finished decorating. I think this year it just might be slimmed down.
The weather has been very cool - almost winter like here in Florida. My goal is to get everything done by the weekend and then enjoy. Well, I do have to bake. I like to hand out cookies to friends and neighbors. Do you have any traditions that you do?
