I am so glad you stopped by. January has gotten off to a great start now that I am better. The weather cooled down some and it was a nice change. I got out a sweater and my high boots. I don't get to wear them very often. I was so excited. Isn't it funny how little things can make you happy!

Buying the Right Drapes
Buying drapes is no easy task!
Any decorator will tell you, curtains make a room, but only when chosen correctly. When it comes to window treatments, it's a matter of color and fabric, length and lining, and custom-made versus off-the-shelf. With so many decisions, it's easy to feel overwhelmed.I was at this point. I needed some drapes for my lanai. Now most might think that it is only an outdoor place, so what's the problem. Well, on the right side of the lanai is where the sun shines most of the afternoon. I don't want my furniture to be exposed to all of that sun. (Now I must admit that I have not put all of my furniture on the lanai yet, I will explain that in another post.)

Here we are at almost the middle of January. We had a cold front move in that was quite refreshing. Unfortunately, the temps have climbed back up to the mid 80's. Oh well, I won't complain. How is your January weather? I know it seems to be cold and then warmer. Crazy weather that we have.
