Katie from Love My Mess is our hostess for the month of November. Katie shares what is going on in her life. My motivation has actually been kicked up a notch since the snow has started to fly here at my farmhouse. I'm determined to empty out the storage unit we rented when we moved last January. Only about 15 boxes left - mostly old baby clothes that need to be sorted and distributed to the various donation spots.

November is off to a great start. Our weather is still warm but not high humidity. I will take it. I actually spent the day, washing windows outside. I thought I would get a head start on getting ready for Christmas. When my husband came home, he started to power wash the driveway. I got the front door area done as well. I was so proud of myself.

Thanksgiving is right around the corner and of course it seems that pumpkin recipes are everywhere. So why not pumpkin donuts?We had few days of cooler weather, so something warm was on my list. Now some would think of chili or soup, not me, dessert.
