First Nov Party on TFT
Welcome to Thursday Favorite Things Party
Happy Thursday dear friends. I am back from PA. My visit was good and Mom is doing well. I was lucky to have beautiful weather while I was there.
How was your Halloween? We didn't have any kids here. Our houses are too far apart for them, that's what I think.
We had to go to my daughters around 7. There are two housing areas on the road to her house. there were cars parked all along the road and as we looked down the road, there were about a hundred kids and parents walking. I have never seen that many people before. I can't imagine how much candy those people had to buy. Did you have lots of trick n' treaters?
I hope you have a fabulous weekend ahead.
Many of my features come from your comments. Don't forget to leave our Linkup Number or Post Title so I can find you and you might become one of my features for next week.

Debbie,
DeleteWow, that is a lot of trick n treaters. How much candy would I have to buy? Yikes!! Your tree is so lovely. I like all of your Halloween decorations but those witches are awesome.
Hugs,
Bev
I'm glad you're home safely Bev! I don't get many trick or treaters either, I can't imagine getting hundreds! My links this week are #14, 17, 21. Happy November!
ReplyDeleteJenna
Jenna,

Thank you for hosting. I'm sharing numbers 28 and 29. Have a wonderful day. 💛
ReplyDeleteStephanie,
DeleteI love how you upcycled those wooden pumpkins. The green with the fall letters on it is my favorite. Thanks for sharing. Have an awesome week.
Hugs,
Bev
Hi, Bev, glad to hear you had a pleasant trip and you are back home. Last year we had tons of kids for Halloween, but this year just 20 or so; it was very cold and it started to snow at some point, so that might have discouraged some of the trick-or-treaters. Thank you for hosting another wonderful party, and for featuring my Ham Meat and Broth from Leftovers! This week I am sharing #43 Lentils with Fruit. Have an awesome week!
ReplyDeleteIrene,
DeleteThanks, it was a nice visit but I am glad to be back home. I love that lentil soup with the fruit. I have never put in bananas in lentil soup. sounds delicious. Pinned.
Hugs,
Bev
I love coming to the party — thanks for hosting, Bev! I’ve linked #34 and 39. Happy November!
ReplyDeleteSandra,
DeleteThanks for always stopping by and sharing. I love those baskets and pottery. Nothing like baskets made by hand. I have several made in the low country. They are my favorites.
Hugs,
Bev
So glad you had a good trip and your mom is well! We don't get many trick or treaters either - I think we only got one little ballerina early on, and a group of teenagers really late! But fun that you got to see a larger neighborhood crowd - I bet their candy supply was huge! 😊 Thanks so much for hosting - I'm linked at 41 & 42 this week. Take care and see you next time!
ReplyDeleteBarbara,
DeleteOh I love your tea set. I have several that were my grandmothers and use them often. I love the way to make them into gifts.
Hugs,
Bev
That is a LOT of people going candy hunting! LOL! Thanks for hosting and sharing my stenciled cork mat! I'm at 59-61 this week! Have a great one, Beverly!
ReplyDeleteJulie,
DeleteYes, too many kids for me. Yikes, the candy bill. lol! I love your white wreath and of course those velvet pumpkins. it is all so beautiful.
Hugs,
Bev

Thanks for reminding me.

ReplyDeleteNatasha,
DeleteThanks for sharing your posts. I love working out. I am lucky that I don't have to workout in snow or cold weather. Enjoy your week.
Hugs,
Bev
Thanks for hosting - and happy November!
ReplyDeleteShelley
Happy November, Beverly! Our neighborhood has gone through a transition in recent years and we had so many trick or treaters stop by! What was even more amazing were all the parents congregating on the road! It was quite cold (even by Minnesota standards) so that was amazing!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for hosting this wonderful place to gather each week!
Thank you so much for the feature! - It put a smile on my face. (I put the featured button on my sidebar, as well as at the bottom of the featured post).
ReplyDeleteWe didn't have any kids trick-or-treating either (same reason - houses too far apart I think).
Thanks for hosting!
Angie
PS My linkups this week are: #171 & #172
Angie,
DeleteYou are so welcome for the feature. I am glad it put a smile on your face.
Enjoy your week.
