Happiness Is Homemade Party
Happiness Is Homemade Link Party
Happy Sunday dear friends. It has been a hot weekend so far but rain is expected to come today and cool things down. We certainly need the rain. I think it is to be a rainy week but that would be fine since I have ironing and sewing to do.
I got several things off of my list, but 3 more things went back on. We finally planted our mini banana trees. I wanted to get them in before the rains came. I finished two projects that I will be sharing soon.
Hope you have a great upcoming week.
Lots of amazing posts yet again to pick from - scroll down to check out my features!
Over the winter I discovered mug cakes and haven't looked back since. They are also a great way to get your younger ones involved in "baking". Ill be adding this 3-Ingredient Mug Cake by Suchot into my Pinterest baking folder!
Gilligan's Island Cocktail
*BONUS FEATURE*
I love baking, even in the summer. Turning one of my favorite pies into a yummy bar is perfect - I can just picture myself sitting in front of the campfire or out on the patio with an Apple Pie Shortbread Bar .

Hey Beverly,
ReplyDeleteWe have had some pretty strong thunder storms this week. Power flickered a lot last night. But we have needed it as well. Your BLT dip looks really good. We are dippers too! A dip get together sounds fabulous.
I am bringing: Happenings on the Homestead, Easy Asian Lettuce Wraps, and How To Can Red Potatoes.
Have a great week!

Melissa,
DeleteWe have needed the rain too. Quite today. We all enjoyed the dipping party. I love those Asian lettuce Wraps. I need to try that recipe.
Have a lovely weekend.
Hugs,
Bev
Hi, Bev; your projects sound like fun, I have a few on my list, which I write on a white board because I keep adding more as I complete some! I missed your Thursday Favourite Things party, so here I am on the weekend party; I am sharing #32 Puebla Style Cemita Buns and #33 Sweet Chipotle Peppers. Have an awesome week!
ReplyDeleteIrene,

ReplyDeleteThank you so much for the feature Bev! I'm going to try that mug cake with a scoop of vanilla ice cream this summer :) And those apple pie bars look delish. And so exciting about your banana trees. Do they grow bananas the first year they're planted?
ReplyDeleteSuchot,
DeleteYou are so welcome for the feature. It will take the banana trees 10 -15 months to produce bananas. Hopefully next year we will have baby bananas. I am so excited.
Hugs,
Bev
