Over The Moon Linky Party
Welcome to Over The Moon Linky Party
Happy Sunday! I hope you are all doing well. We are having some gentle rain. We had some on Wednesday of last week and that was the first in 4-5 weeks. It is very dry here in Central Florida. So some outdoor projects are on hold for today. That's probably a good thing, get some stuff done inside.
I would love it if you shared what you have been doing this past week or the weekend. I love hearing how you are handling being at home. My Mom lives in a senior apartment building and they closed it on Saturday. No one is allowed to visit her. My sister is taking it hard since they spend a lot of time together when she is not working. At least she is healthy and doing great. She will be 95 at the end of this month.
My favorite part of these parties is reading your comments. I feel like I get to know you and that we are almost like "texting" back and forth. You share your stories with me and I share mine - just like friends. So keep them coming.

ReplyDeleteDee,
DeleteI did miss no housework day but I took today off to make up for it.
Have a lovely Easter.

Hey Beverly,
ReplyDeleteWe had so much rain for a while that it kept farmers from planting but it has leveled off. We had a cool spell this week too which was nice. Both my husband and I are still working so we don't have the time at home to deal with but we have the stress of being out in the public.
I am sharing #'s 16 Classic Clam Chowder and 21, my weekly Happenings on the Homestead.
Have a great week!

Melissa,
DeleteI know it must be difficult to still be working out in the public. My prayers are with you both. Your gardens are coming along. I dug some potatoes yesterday and I have some zucchini coming. Also a few strawberries and some blackberries. My garden is doing well.
We had rain today which we had not had in quite some time. I know you must miss that grand baby. Just when they move here and you could have seen her. I hope you can soon.
Stay healthy,
Bev
Bev,

Debbie,
DeleteWe are all doing fine here. Staying around the house as much as possible. Hubby usually goes to the grocery store. I love how you decorated your peat pots and your Victorian house looks so pretty all decked out for Easter. Continue to stay healthy.
Hugs,
Bev

Thank you for featuring our Mint Oreo Brownie Cookies. They are such a fun little treat. I really have a hard time with the social distancing that the Elderly are going through right now. I feel like they are isolated so much anyway and this is just that much more difficult. My mother lived with me the last few years of her life and it would have been so hard for me to see her in that situation. Right now I have an aunt that is 89 and is in a Senior residence that is not allowing visitors. I saw a picture on Facebook of her daughter and granddaughter waving at her through the window (I guess that one of the employees took it). It broke my heart, but at least they let her know that they are thinking about her. Thank you for hosting the party. Our links this week are: #118, #119, & #123.
ReplyDeleteAmy,
DeleteYou are so welcome for the feature. I know what you mean, I feel bad for those that can't have visitors. They told my Mom today that she could have visitors and she was so happy. She is even allowed to go to my sisters for Easter dinner. That will make her day.
Hope you continue to be healthy.
Hugs,
Bev
That's wonderful your mother is healthy and has avoided the virus! My brother-in-law, who works in New York, caught the virus. Luckily, it could be managed with just doctor televisits, and he was cleared to go back home to Arizona after additional isolation time. I'm sharing my amusing Easter printable, #7.
ReplyDeleteAllyson,
DeleteI am so lucky that she is doing well. I am so sorry about your brother-in-law but so glad he licked it and was able to go back home. Thanks for the the Easter printable. I am trying to stay focused on Easter when it is hard to remember what day it is.
Hugs,
Bev
Thank you so much for featuring my Cross Pretzels, Bev!! I'm so glad you like them. They are one of my favorite projects!
ReplyDeleteLiberty,
DeleteYou are so welcome for the feature. They are such an adorable idea.
I hope you are continuing to be healthy.

Bev
