Over The Moon Linky Party
Welcome to Over The Moon Linky Party
Happy Sunday and Thanksgiving week here in the States. Don't you just love all of the wonderful smells on Thanksgiving - turkey cooking, stuffing, pies it makes my mouth water. I am having Thanksgiving and my daughter wants to do lots of the cooking. I am fine with that. I will make the pies the day before and do the appetizers. Some of the other family members will bring a dish, so I am sure we will have more food than we need. Isn't that what always the way?
I always like to invite people in the neighbor hood that might not have any family here. Our numbers are growing, but that's the joy of giving. I am so excited for everyone to come. What are your plans for Thanksgiving? Are you making the meal?
I hope you enjoy checking out my features and all of the amazing posts. I had so much fun looking at all of the posts. Wow, you guys are amazing. Have a great week ahead.

Debbie,
DeleteI love retirement too. I am cooking for around 15, or maybe more. When you cook for more than 10 it doesn't matter how many come after that. I always do way too much. I love that updated wreath.
Have a lovely Thanksgiving.
Hugs,
Bev
Happy Thanksgiving Beverly !!
ReplyDeleteWe are headed to SC to one of my husband's daughters. So nice of you to invite those without family in the area. That is what the season is all about!
I am #35 and #36 this week: Chicken Orzo Soup and my weekly Happenings on the Homestead.
Have a great week!

Thanks for the linkup. I left some thoughts about healthy holiday food at #85. I'm contributing to the meal this year, not trying to do the whole thing myself.
ReplyDeleteAletha,
DeleteI do most of the cooking, but others do bring something as well. I always try to make healthy choices and dishes. If not for others but for myself. Starting now, it seems as though there is always too much food around.
Have a lovely Thanksgiving.
Hugs,
Bev
