Thursday Favorite Things
Welcome to Thursday Favorite Things!
The last couple of days have been crazy and I forgot it was Thursday until 6 o'clock this morning. My grandson came home from school early on Tuesday and then again on Wednesday. It wasn't until yesterday that He told me he had taken a slapshot to the head in hockey practice. He is a goalie. He didn't think too much about it until the headaches started and dizziness. So off to the doctors and sure enough he has a concussion. No screen time for him. Do you know how hard that is for a 13 year old? But I must admit, he did fine. They want him to try a half day again today and then they are off Friday, so that should help. No hockey games this weekend. With kids, it is always something.

Debbie,
Deleteit looks like fall tree time at Debbie's. I have a fall mat at the front door, does that count? I really need to get into the spirit. With temps here in Vermont in the low 60s, I think I am ready to decorate.
have a great weekend.
Hugs,
Bev
Hi! I'm numbers 104 and 105 today.
ReplyDeleteLiberty,
DeleteYou go girl, making your own landing step. You are so clever. I love using pickets to hide things. I have some around our septic pump. The make everything look better.

Well, it was a case of "if I don't do it nobody will." Because often, others don't see the same need that I see....
DeleteThanks so much for the feature, Bev! BIG hugs! I'm at 130 and 131 this week! (Shared my pumpkins again ;-) )
ReplyDeleteJulie,
DeleteYou are so welcome for the feature. Congrats again. Love your pumpkins and that coffee bar. I see so many wonderful coffee bars, but I don't drink coffee, I should do a tea bar.

I'm really late linking up this week - but thank you again for hosting this fun party! I just noticed that in my hurry I spelled "tomatoes" wrong (Tomoes - haha - link#280)
ReplyDeleteHave a nice day!
Angie
PS I also linked up #278 & #279
Angie,
DeleteIt is never too late to join up. Your squirrels are playing havoc with your tomatoes. At least you were able to salvage some of them. I can remember when my Mom used to can and we helped her. It is always nice to have canned tomatoes around. Your sun flowers continue to impress me. I would be starring at then all day. They are so pretty.
Hugs,
Bev
