Turn Plain Flower Pots into Cute Ones
I started with these two pots. One was plastic and the other was Terracotta.
I sprayed painted them blue and green, since that's what I had. Then I let them dry.
They look better already but still needed some extra pizzazz.
So I found some white paint and a kitchen sponge. I cut the sponge into a triangle and a circle.
I dipped the sponge into the white paint and then dabbed it on a paper towel and then applied it to the flower pot.
I put on the triangle one on the blue pot around the top.
Next I added triangles around the bottom but only used a part of the triangle.
On the plastic one, I added circles around the top and the bottom.
Now to add my plants, Christmas cactus.
These quick and easy updated flower pots make them look so much better. You could easily add other markings for your design.
This would be a great craft for kids to do as well.
