New Additions to Our Family
New Additions to the Family
When someone says those words, it usually means a new baby or grand baby. However, in this case, it means new baby puppies. Yes, we are getting not one, but two new baby Dachshunds. That will make 4 dachshunds for us. The more the merrier. When we baby sit for my daughter's dachshunds, it will be 6. :)
We were able to go and see them on Saturday and it was awesome. The two mothers are Icelyn and Willow. Icelyn had 4 baby boys on Feb 22nd and Willow had 5 puppies - 4 girls and one boy on Feb 24th. Yes, that makes 9 puppies of love in one place. We were enjoying all nine of them as they crawled all over us and chewed on clothes and toes.
Be prepared to drool! Don't miss the last couple of pics.
This is Antony at 6 weeks. His mother is Icelyn. Icelym is an English Cream

Ham and Sweet Potato Casserole
Ham and Sweet Potato Casserole
I was looking for an easy casserole to make and I had some ham leftover from Easter in the freezer and one sweet potato. Sounded like a great start for a casserole. I made a roux and then added the other ingredients. A little crunchy topping and I had a casserole.
