Happy Monday! I hope you had a great weekend. Ours was very nice. Did some yard work, worked on slip covers for my couch and washed my car. Of course once it was dry and shining, the rain came. lol!

Happy Thursday! Life is good. I am on my way back home after having a girls night with my bestie. I had not seen her in 7 weeks so it was long over do. We laughed, drank (a little) cooked and then she gave me a facial. She does that for a living. 

There is nothing like a girls night together. We use to have more time together but since I moved, I only get to see her about every 5 weeks. it is 4 hours one way to her house, but it is worth it.

Welcome to the party. My week got off to a crazy start. Going into church up north, my Mom tripped and fell. Hit her face, her knee, her hand as she tried to stop herself. She is 96 and when my sister got there, she was bleeding but she said she was fine. Her face is black and blue.

However, she was not fine. she went for an xray on her hand and they sent her home and said they would call with the results. Who does that to a 96 year old person. Well, she has a fractured finger. They said she could see an orthopedic surgeon at the end of the month. Really??

Finally, my sister called my Mom's doctor backa nd she was able to get her an appointment on Wednesday. Now this has been since Sunday. Poor thing, having to deal with all of that. I feel bad for my sister, since she has to try and work and deal with doctors and appointments. It is so hard being so far away. I am just grateful that my sister is there to help.   

I just can't believe that they sent her home with a fractured finger. Crazy.
