Happy  Sunday! We are having a gloomy grey day here in central Florida. Last night it started with a burst of wind that blew the garbage cans over, blew our chairs against the pool cage, branches came down and things were flying everywhere. We were shocked at the strength and how fast it came up. Then it calmed down some and just rained. 

Today, heavy rained and darkness. I can't complained since we have not had any rain for several weeks now. We needed it.

My friend Marilyn from Marilyn's Treats makes the yummiest desserts. When I stopped by to see this baking work of art the Gluten Free Carrot Cake, my instant response was "I should have known it was made by Marilyn!" Her recipes are always the best.

Happy Thursday!  I hope your week has been great. Mine has been wonderful. The weather has been beautiful. The days are warm and the evenings are cool. What more can you ask for?

How is your weather? I know it has been quite warm up north. My Mom has been loving the warm temps in PA. 

I have been working in my gardens. The veggie are coming along nicely and strawberries are producing and so are the black raspberries. Soon we will be having blueberries too. 

I still have these two plants that came up from the compost pile. I am not sure what they are yet so I have not planted them until I see how much space they need. It is my surprise plants.

Cheesy Herbed Pull-Apart Biscuits with Spinach-Artichoke Dip


Although Easter is over, I wanted to share with you an appetizer I made for that day. It was so tasty and a big hit. I set it out and fixed a plate for my in-laws. When I went in to get some for myself,  it was almost gone. It was a huge success. 

This is NOT an Easter dish but one you can make anytime. I actually made it that morning and then put it in the fridge and didn't bake it until the afternoon.

Wonderful Wednesday Blog Hop

I am so excited that you stopped by. I hope your week is off to a great start. 

The weather has been beautiful and I have been cleaning out another raised garden bed. All of them are done and the veggies are doing well. 

I have two plants that came up when I used some of my compost to plant some spring flowers. Not sue what they are, watermelon or butternut squash. The plant is in a big pot and a flower is coming. Maybe then I will know what it is. Love the the suspense of not knowing.
