Happy Monday! In a few days it will be Thanksgiving for us in the U.S. I am so looking forward to all of the great food and the desserts. We are havign a small group, hubby, my in-laws and my daughter. I like the idea of toning down the food. It always seems like we have too much. This year, cutting back. 

Although it will be small, I am so grateful that my in-laws can be with us. It will be a nice day. Eating, drinking (very little for me) desserts and playing cards. That is always fun. Do you play any games over the holidays?

Happy Sunday!  I hope you have had an enjoyable weekend. Ours was really nice. Getting some things done which is always good. 
You will notice that I choose lots of sweets for my features this week. I guess I was thinking of Thanksgiving and of course having dessert. I did include some books to read while you were eating your dessert. I hope that counts!!! Enjoy your week, especially if you are celebrating Thanksgiving!

Wonderful Wednesday Blog Hop

Welcome to another week at Wonderful Wednesday Blog Hop! I hope your week is off to a great start. Can you believe that Thanksgiving here in the U.S. is right around the corner. Although this has been a crazy year, it has still flown by. 

We went shopping on Monday for some things for Thanksgiving dinner. We decided since we were such a small number this year that we would only cook a turkey breast. Can you believe that they did not have any? The guy at the store said they people were buying early and a lot. Hubby went to another store and found one. Everything else seemed to be stocked. Are you having any problems getting grocery items? 

In-laws arrived yesterday and that went well. Their plane landed early which was nice. We got them all settled. They will be here until May. 

Hubby has been trying to go once a month now down to his office in Miami and today was his day. They do most of their meetings online but he likes to check on things in person now and then.
