Happy Sunday! I am so glad you stopped by. I hope your day has been a good one. We are still having cool weather here in Florida. I think fall/winter is here. It certainly has put me in a Christmas mood. I am trying to hold off from decorating, but getting anxious. I am making some Christmas presents, however. That has been fun.
With Thanksgiving approaching here in the States, I did get my menu ready and bought a few things. I have seen so many great recipes that I want to try. I always like to make one new dish or dessert. Do you do that or do you stick with your traditional recipes? I love Thanksgiving because it is just about giving thanks and being with family and friends. Eating to our hearts content and telling stories. We don't have any real traditions, do you?

Welcome to the party. I hope your weekend is going well so far. Mine is good but a little crazy and exciting at the same time. My in-laws are coming down for the winter tonight which is exciting. We had to clean their house and do laundry and buy groceries. I made some raisin filled cookies and banana bread for them. I am a little tired but so delighted to have them here for the next 6 months.
Today, we have two easy and delicious dessert recipes that could complete your Thanksgiving dinner and two DIY project that could enhance the decor in your home. Hope you enjoy.

I am so glad you stopped by and joined our party. I am finally feeling like fall. It was only 68 degrees today. That was cold for me and a big change since yesterday was 82 degrees. The cold front up north must be spreading down here to Florida.
I know that some of you have had snow. My sister in Rochester, NY had 8 inches yesterday. Even my grand kids had a snow day yesterday in Vermont. It seems like it is winter up north. What kind of weather are you having?

Welcome to the party. As usual, this month is flying by too. Before long we will be celebrating Thanksgiving here in the states. I actually, started to think of my menu yesterday. I made a list of food and what I would need. That is awesome for me, since I do have a tendency to wait to much later.
I usually cook everything. My Mom used to do it all and we would all bring a dish. There was way too much food. She would make 4-5 pies and others would bring dessert too. We did have a large crowd- around 28 but it was still too much.I don't make that much and we usually have family from out of town so they often bring dessert.
