It's Thursday and welcome to the party. I am so delighted that you have joined our party. It has been another busy week for me - they are preparing our yard for a new patio, sidewalk and circular driveway. It seems like they are everywhere - front and back of the house. The dogs are not sure where to go, but they still bark at all of the men that arrive.

Wonderful Wednesday Blog Hop!
Here we are in the middle of July. This summer is flying by. I can't believe that it will be August in a few weeks. Hope you continue to enjoy your summer.We are having a new patio, walkway and circular driveway put in. I feel so bad for the men who are doing it in this heat. Today they started by removing the sod. for the patio and walkway. We already have the circular drive in but it is gravel.
The dogs go crazy with all of the people here. Dachshunds love to bark and protect me. What a week I will have.

I hope you had a wonderful weekend. Ours was a mixture of some rest and some work. We had to get our irrigation system moved in preparation for a new concrete patio that is being started today. In the mist of that, we were scheduled to go to Georgia to visit my husband's brother and family and pick up some fresh peaches. I am sharing a fresh peach dessert with you today.

It's peach season and we love fresh peaches and any way to use them in a dessert is OK with hubby. These peach puffs come together easily and taste great.They would also be yummy for breakfast or a brunch.

My weekend has been a mixture of relaxing and working. We went to Georgia to visit my husband's brother and family. It was so nice to relax for a change - no house work. We were gone only one night, had to come back early to finish getting the sprinkler system ready for Monday. We are having a new concrete patio put in and had to move many of the pipes away from the back and reconnect. Biggest problem is that temps are around 95 degrees. You really don't want to be out there.
