Wonderful Wednesday Blog Hop

Welcome to Wonderful Wednesday Blog Hop!

I am so excited that you are here this week. I am in Vermont visiting with the grand babies, although they are not that little anymore. My grandson is now a little taller than me and he will be 14 in a couple of months. My grand daughter is still a head shorter and she is 11.  I thought I was going to have lots of time to work on my blog, but my son and daughter-in-law just had a new kitchen put in so things are everywhere. We spent most of the weekend trying to get the kitchen organized. That was hard since it is not mine. I was putting things where I thought they should go. She only changed one thing, so I must have done good.

Today I have been working on the living room drapes and furniture. So much for relaxation. lol! I am enjoying it however. All the while, it is snowing outside and everything is white.

Welcome to the Wonderful Wednesday Blog Hop

Welcome to our blog party! Most of you are well-versed in how blog hops work. If you are new to blog hops, though, this simple definition of a blog hop may help. A blog hop is an online event where bloggers share links to their best posts. Guests also come by and look through the list of posts, visiting the ones they like the most. They may find a really great recipe to save or a creative idea (DIY, craft project, home decor, etc) to try, get some money making tips and on and on. You do NOT have to be a blogger to enjoy a blog hop. If you like browsing through magazines, you will love visiting blog hops! Our party features posts that our visitors viewed most the previous week. Here are the ones you visited most LAST week! This time around we had a tie for the "most viewed" category:

You're The Star - Family Feature Week

Welcome to You're The Star - Family Feature Week

It's another Monday morning. Hope you are all doing well and ready for a new week. I am sitting here looking out at tons of snow. This is unusual for me living in Florida, because this week I am visiting my grand kids in Vermont. The snow is pretty but it was blistery cold yesterday. My thin blood can't take all of this cold. Of well, it is nice for awhile. Hope you are staying warm and have a great week.

Over The Moon Linky Party

Welcome to Over The Moon Linky Party

Normally I tell you that the weather is warm, but not today. I am in Vermont with the grand kids and that means cold and snow. Yikes! The wind is blowing and the snow is swirling - not my cup of tea. Fortunately, I am staying indoors. I am cold just looking out at the snow, although it does look pretty.

Happiness Is Homemade

Welcome to Happiness Is Homemade!

Are you ready for St. Patrick's Day? If not we have some great recipes and projects that will get you in the mood. Audrey has gathered up some wonderful posts for you to enjoy.

This week's features on Happiness is Homemade have a bit of an Irish flair in honor of St. Patrick's Day next week. No corned beef and cabbage or green dyed beer, but some fun projects and recipes as well as a great furniture makeover.
May love and laughter light your days, and warm your heart and home. May good and faithful friends be yours, wherever you may roam. May peace and plenty bless your world with joy that long endures. May all life’s passing seasons bring the best to you and yours! -Irish Blessing
Have a great week, ~Audrey from That Recipe Happiness is Homemade St Patrick's Day Collage Colleen from My Life on Kaydeross Creek turned a beat up thrift store find into this beautiful piece of furniture. painted-furniture-antique-hutch-makeover-using-pure-original-paint-paint-techniques-life-on-kaydeross-creek I absolutely adore this tiny framed shamrock from Celebrating Everyday Life. Great for St. Patrick's Day, but it would also be a fun little treasure for a child going off to college, someone starting a new job, or anyone that needs a little luck. Linda from a Labour of Life shows you how to fold Shamrock napkins for a festive table. She makes it look so easy I think I could even duplicate it.   If you want a traditional Irish meal (as opposed to the Irish American Corned Beef) try this Shepherd's Pie from Comfort Spring Station. If you make lamb for Easter, be sure to save this recipe to make with the leftovers. Serving of Irish Shepherds Pie #irish #shepherdspie #stpatricksday #food Keep you green beer and Irish whiskey shots, I want one of these Mint Irish Iced Coffee Cocktails from Home Cooking Memories. Maybe more than one. Mint Irish Iced Coffee Cocktail Recipe

Thursday Favorite Things

Welcome to Thursday Favorite Things!

March is such a changeable month, in which we can see warm spring-like temperatures or late-season snowstorms. We had very warm temperatures here in south Florida at the beginning of the month and then a cold snap hit on Tuesday night. It actually felt good for a change but temps will go back up by the weekend. Many of you are experiencing crazy March temps too. Hang in there and enjoy the warm spring-like ones knowing that they will be coming soon to stay.

Many of my features come from you my commenters. Don't forget to leave your Linkup Number or Post Title so I can find you and you could become one of my featured commenters next week.
