Happy Thursday dear friends. I am doing pretty good this week so far. I appreciate all of your heartfelt wishes. You have all been so kind.
I was able to get 2 wigs for when my hair falls out, my daughter bought me a couple of sleep caps, and my SIL bought me 2 caps to wear at home and out. I guess you could say I am ready, but I think losing my hair will be tough. I will keep you posted.

Welcome to the party. Hello dear friends. I hope you had a wonderful Memorial weekend. I want to thank all of your for your kind words and prayers. It is a blessing to have so much kindness and support.
Chemo is going well. I don't have it this week because of the holiday, so I have been feeling good. Some nausea and feeling tired. I seem to nap each afternoon. Doing my best to enjoy each day.

Happy Memorial Day. I hope your weekend is filled with family, friends, great food and relaxation. We have been sort of celebrating all weekend. Both of our neighbors are away and the weather has been hot. Lots of pool time (not much for me). My BIL cooked on Saturday, we had wings on Sunday and I am cooking for Monday.
It has been so nice spending time with my BIL and SIL since they are leaving on Tuesday to head back up to West Virginia. We will miss them.

Memorial Day Ideas on TFT
Happy Thursday dear friends. I want to thank all of you for the kind words about my cancer. You have all been so thoughtful and I appreciate it so much. I had my first treatment and it went well. I know that it gets worse but for now I am doing good.
We were able to take 5 days vacation. We went to Orlando to a resort and spa. It was close to home. My BIL and SIL went with us and we had so much fun. My SIL and I spent 2 sessions at the spa and we had some wonderful dinners out.
Thank you again for all of your heartfelt wishes. I know that some of you are cancer survivors and you give me inspiration. I will keep you posted.
