Mine started when I saw a sled and wanted one for my table. Now to figure out how to make one.

DIY Winter Wonderland On a Sled Tray
With Christmas around the corner, there are so many items that can be used to create a Winter Wonderland tray for your home. Sometimes these items can come from things you already have, from your yard, something you make, from the Dollar Tree or a combination of these. My Winter Wonderland Tray is a combination of all of these.
If you are stopping by from Master Pieces of My Life, MaryJo created that lovely tiered silver tray with Christmas baubles and organic elements. So beautiful.

About my tray:
I had several trays that I could have used for this project, but I saw a sled and decided that I wanted to make one for myself and use it as my tray. And so I did!
I have a post that teaches you how to make the sled. Click here to see that tutorial.
Once the sled was made, I needed to add some items to it. I started with a metal bucket.
I thought of different fabric to put around the bucket and then decided to make something different than a Christmas fabric. I gathered some black/tan checked fabric and some rusted bells. I stitched the bells onto the fabric strip.
I have not gotten my Christmas decorations out yet, so out into the back yard I go for some greenery.
Now, what else to put on my sled? I made this JOY decor for the front of the sled. I will also post on how to make these.

Happy Monday. I hope you have a lovely weekend. I got out the Christmas decorations, but only worked on the outside. By the time I washed all the windows, I was too tired to do much decorating.
I don't know about you, but I was confused on what day it was, with Thanksgiving being on Thursday. it threw off the whole weekend.

Happy Thursday. All is good here. The weather has cooled down here in Florida and it feels wonderful.
I had cataract surgery on Tuesday on my left eye. It went well. I am doing better each day. I chose to have them correct both my near and far vision. It is amazing what they can do these days. I will have the right eye done on the 29th. I am excited to experience the outcome. Looking forward to not having to wear glasses.
I shared Thanksgiving Decor and Goodies in previous posts, this week I give up Thanksgiving Side Dishes. Enjoy!

I made it back home on Sunday. I had a wonderful visit. I had to be home by Sunday since I am having cataract surgery on Tuesday. I am trying to get the party done early since I am not sure how much I will be able to see with all of the dilation.
Everyone says it is a piece of cake, I hope so. I am a little nervous.

Back Home and You're The Star Party
You're The Star - Creative Feature Week
Happy Monday! I finally made it back homme from my visit with my Mom and sister. The weather was beautiful until Friday. Nicole sent lots of rain up in PA. It wasn't bad since it was still warm. Then on Saturday, the rain came again but this time, it was cold.
I hadn't taken a coat with me so I went and bought some gloves. I was glad I had them on Sunday morning when it was only 34 degrees. It is good to be back home.

Happy Thursday. Well, I am still here in PA since Nicole has decided to come to Florida and the airports are shutdown. Hopefully, I will be going home on Sunday now. My Mom is so happy I am staying longer.
The weather has been great although it is to really cool down on Saturday. Silly me, didn't bring a coat with me, only a sweater. I did bring a couple of heavy tops. I should be fine. lol!

Welcome Friends. Well, it has been wonderful spending time with my Mom and sister. The weather has been so wonderful with the sun shining each day. A little cooler than I am use to but enjoying it.
My sister and I went to a antique store that also carries handmade items for the holidays. The place was decorated so lovely. I had to buy small things since they would have to go into my suitcase.

Welcome Friends to the first day on November. I don't know about you but I feel like I was just putting away Christmas and now it will be upon us soon. Why do the years seem to fly faster, the older you get?
Now that we are in November, it will be time for Thanksgiving and then Christmas. This time of year always seem to fly by so quickly.
Our little town has already started to decorate for Christmas. It was funny seeing Christmas decor while the kids were off collecting Halloween candy from all the stores. I guess you have to do both.
