It is official, we sold our house, all papers were sign on Wednesday, and I am in our new one. I am having a hard time getting everything to fit. The kitchen cabinets are not as deep as my old ones and they are not as wide. I keep moving items around to see what works the best. I am sure I will find a way to get it all in there. It is something I just didn't think about - different cabinet sizes.
Hope you are having a great week as we move into the first weekend in June. Can you believe it? This year is going way to fast!

In the mist of moving, I needed to find a place for the small trunk. In our bedroom, is this space or sort of alcove above with some lights. I thought why not up there. That was the beginning. What else could be put up there. So for the next hour, I needed a break, my daughter and I decided to see what I could find to add to the truck. All of these things have special meaning to me. It is rather high up there, so it was hard to get a good picture.

My house update: we finally moved all of our possessions here on Friday. We were too tired to unload then so we did that yesterday. All of the furniture is in but there are boxes everywhere. We spent the night last night. It is going to take awhile to unpack but at least we are finally moved.

Happy Thursday to everyone. I am so sorry that I did not get to respond to your comments last week. Since I went to Pittsburgh for the weekend, it was so late by the time I got back late on Sunday night. But I am here this week so I will be answering your comments.
I packed all day today and we put a few things into the trailer. Tomorrow we will pack everything up and then leave on Friday morning. It is down to the wire now.

Memorial Weekend is fast approaching. Do you have plans? We usually go camping on Memorial weekend but this year, we will be making our final move. We are not sure when we will be heading out, once everything is pack will be the deciding factor. Probably Friday morning. Before we continue onto the Linky party I wanted to share a picture from our hocckey weekend. My Mom is 94 and has never seen a hockey game, so I took her to see her great gandson play. He is a goalie for his team. I also took my sister. It was a nice reunion for everyone.

It is a beautiful Sunday here in Pittsburgh. I had hoped to enjoy some cooler weather while I was here but today it is 85. Although that is cooler than Florida, it is still warm. Oh well, it is still enjoyable. The best part was that I did not have to pack or unpack boxes. That's a good thing! Hope you are enjoying your Sunday.

I am enjoying my visit to Pittsburgh to watch my grandson play in a hockey tournament. Although I have seen him play before, it was a special treat for my mother. She turned 94 at the end of April and I wanted her to see her great grandson play. She has never seen a hockey game and she was so excited to see him play. When the game ended, she said, "it's over already, I was just getting into it".I also too my younger sister to the game so it was a nice family get together. We all went out for lunch later and had a wonderful visit.

Welcome to Thursday. The weeks seem to be flying by. 12 more days until we have to be out of our house. It's coming down to the wire and we are getting there, but I seem to be fading. I am heading to Pittsburgh this weekend to see my grandson in a hockey tournament. I am so excited to watch him play and also to see my Mom and sister. It will also be so nice NOT to be packing our unpacking.

Since it is National Chocolate Chip Day, I thought I would make some brownies with dark chocolate chips. I am trying to eat healthier so I wanted ones that were made with avocados. I love avocados but have never put them in my brownies. Why not try them?

I couldn't add height on this load since I could not pile up very high on many of the items. Nothing moved, so that was good. Like my crochet sets?

Another week of packing, loading and then driving and unloading. We came in tonight at 9:40 after packing and I realized I needed to get my party ready. Happy Sunday! Hope you are having a great day. The weather was really hot here today. We had some rain over the weekend and then the sun came out today.
Update on our moving front - we took another load up over the weekend and I was able to get one of the spare bedrooms put together. I just needed to have one room sort of organized. Everything else is so unorganized. Maybe one of these days I will share some pictures.

Can you believe that it is May? I am in my May moving countdown. This weekend we are moving two bedrooms and the living room to the other house. I have been packing and sorting.
