Remedies, Candles and More on Happiness Is Homemade
Remedies, Candles and More on Happiness Is Homemade
Welcome to the Happiness Is Homemade Link Party #580 - this is Katie from Love My Messy Messy Mess and we are gearing up for Easter at my home! Coloring eggs, making Polish placek sweet bread and Easter egg cutout cookies are just some of the things going on. Add several loads of laundry to that list, too. :)

This Week's Features
Here's a classic Easter treat - Hot Cross Buns - from Cindy's On Line Recipe Box. She always has the best recipes!!!!!
I have become very interested in using local herbs and natives for their health benefits. I am a gardener and find it so interesting how we have all these natural remedies right in our backyards! This recipe for DIY Dandelion Salve looks easy and heaven knows I've got the dandelions to do it!
I adore a fun cocktail, especially one I can make in the comfort of my own home! With the Master's coming up, I thought this recipe for The Masters Azalea Cocktail would be perfect, looks so refreshing!

Rhubarb - you either love it or you hate it. Me personally - I love it! Why not make Strawberry Rhubarb Crisp for Memorial Day instead of a pie? So much less work and just as delicious!
Just look at how these beautiful Decoupage Easter Eggs turned out, love this clever idea! This would be fun for littles to help with as well, so simple yet stunning!
Bonus Feature
These are just gorgeous too - I love looking at vintage tea cups at flea markets but I never knew what I would do with them! Problem solved - DIY Candles Using Vintage Porcelain such a great way to reuse and gift!
