Welcome to the First Day of Spring!!
We have been having wonderful weather although it seems that no week goes by without a cold front moving in for a few days.
Last I told you about planting our garden. We finished planting and today, we looked and the rabbits ate all but on pepper and several of the tomatoes. Hubby was heart broken. We have never had rabbits before and now one is living under my she shed which is next to one of the gardens. I guess it is back to the store for some more.
Hubby put a fence up around the garden. Hopefully, they don't get to the other ones.

Oh my, so sorry about your garden. You may very well need to hand the scents of prey in your garden. One easy way is mesh bags (like avocados come in) filled with hair. A local barber shop may be happy to give some, as well as a dog grooming parlor. You will have the scents of man and a beast. We also use urine, as do many gardeners, but many find it off putting. But honestly urine from healthy folks is not a safety hazard.

ReplyDeleteThat is awful about the bunnies! Reminds me of the rodents and squirrels we had at the apartment... so maddening! I hope you find a solution! I'm at 79 and 80 this week!
