Happy Thursday. Well, my trip to PA to see my Mom was bitter sweet. I got to see her on Friday and Saturday, but she passed early Sunday morning. I never dreamt it would happen so quickly. At least I was there. You are never prepared to get that call no matter if you know it will be coming at some point.
My sister is having a really hard time with it since she took care of her and was there everyday. She would have been 100 in 2 months. She lived a good life.

My in-laws both almost 98 when they passed and while bitter sweet, also refreshing to know they led long and happy lives. Hope you feel the same way about your mom. Thank you for the inspiring ideas and recipes - GREAT party as always. This week I brought JALAPENO BBQ MEATBALLS, SALTED CARAMEL CHEESECAKE CUPS and LOADED HASH BROWN POTATO SOUP. I hope you’re having a GREAT weekend.
