Happy Thursday dear friends. I am doing pretty good this week so far. I appreciate all of your heartfelt wishes. You have all been so kind.
I was able to get 2 wigs for when my hair falls out, my daughter bought me a couple of sleep caps, and my SIL bought me 2 caps to wear at home and out. I guess you could say I am ready, but I think losing my hair will be tough. I will keep you posted.
I hope your upcoming weekend is great!

Bev, thanks for hosting a party on a pretty spring (or is it summer?) day. I've linked #15.
ReplyDeleteSandra,
DeleteYour table is beautiful as always. Flowers are so pretty and I love the bird napkin rings. So sorry about your dog. They do love to eat things. We have been lucky that none of mind have done that, but I know of others.
Hugs,
Bev

Thanks for the great features, Bev! I always find such interesting and inspiring ideas here! I'm linked at 29 this time. I'm so glad you're planning ahead with your wigs! It'll be so much easier to know you're prepared. Still sending lots of healing energy your way! Good luck with everything, and see you next time!

ReplyDeleteJulie,
DeleteI know about all of the problems with a camper. We have a motor home and there is always something. I know you will get it all worked out. It's good that you are hooked into their sewage lines, that is a biggie.
Thanks for the prayers. I really appreciate it.
Hugs,
Bev
Hugs to you Bev, thinking of you

DeleteThank you for thinking of me. I appreciate it. I have never heard of bundner-nusstorte before but it sounds yummy. Pinned. Hopefully, one day I will try to make them.

Hello Bev, great features this week! I pray that all goes well as your health journey unfolds. Stay strong, dear lady. Sharing at 67, 68, and 69.
ReplyDeleteHi Bev. Prayers for you as you have your chemo and battle your cancer. I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer 2 years ago and after surgery and treatments, have been cancer-free for about 20 months. Well, I have had maintenance therapy as my tumor had a genetic defect (of course lol) but that has not been as difficult as chemo was for me. Hang in there!
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry to hear of your cancer, but so happy that you are now cancer free. I look forward to saying that. I pray that you will continue to be cancer free. I know everyone says that the chemo is the worst. Trying to stay positive.
DeleteHugs,
Bev
Happy TFT Day my friend. So nice to see you able to blog, you are one tough cookie. Consider wearing a cool cap. It sometimes helps with the hair loss. Praying for a successful outcome xo
ReplyDeleteKatherine,
DeleteThanks for your prayers. That means a lot. My DIL did the cool cap but still lost her hair. I will see about it.
Hugs,
Bev

ReplyDeleteTamy,
DeleteThanks for sharing your recipes. I love that Lemon Chicken Costaletta. I always gravitate towards chicken recipes. I pinned it.
Have a wonderful weekend.

Bev
You continue to be in my prayers.
ReplyDeleteThanks again for hosting this fun linky!! I hope that you are able to rest and enjoy this weekend.

PS - my linkups this week are: #130, 131 & 132
Angie,
DeleteThanks for the prayers. Wow, I can't believe how your raspberries have grown. I am amazed. I have blackberries and this year was great. We had so many but it was only 3 years for them. Probably because of the Florida weather. I will look for raspberries because I love them too. Your Raspberry Tea Cakes look so yummy and so do the chocolate biscotti.
I am getting hungry here.
Hugs,
Bev
Thank you so much for featuring my straw bags/totes post. I so appreciate it. I'm #139 this week. My friend had cancer a few years ago and losing her hair was very hard for her too, but she got a wig that matched her hair exactly, so no one knew. That is so nice your daughter and SIL are meeting all your needs. I prayed for you and will continue to do so.
ReplyDeleteAmy,
DeleteYou are so welcome for the feature. Congratulations on the new grandbaby. How exciting is that. Yes, I do worry about the hair loss but the wig is close to my own hair so I think it will be OK. My daughter and SIL have been so supportive. I am blessed.
Thanks for the prayers.
Hugs,
Bev
