Easter Ideas on Thursday Favorite Things
Welcome to Thursday Favorite Things Party
Happy Thursday friends. It has been rather bust here with lots of family in town over the weekend thru Tuesday. On top of that my MIL is in rehab after breaking her hip. She is not the best patient and it is very difficult. She won't do her exercises or listen to what they tell her. She is 95 and my FIL is 94. Not an easy situation.
Last week I gave you some Easter goodies to check out and this week I gathered some crafts, tablescape, and decor for you to look at. I hope you find some inspiration.
Enjoy the rest of your week!
Many of my features come from your comments. Don't forget to leave our Linkup Number or Post Title so I can find you and you might become one of my features for next week.

I feel ya, Beverly...caring for our elderly parents can certainly be challenging! Thanks for hosting and thank you so very much for featuring my spring printable! Always a joy to be featured at TFT! I'm linked up at 36,37 this time around! Hope you have a good day!!
ReplyDeleteJulie,
DeleteThanks, yes caring for our elderly is a challenge but one we have to do. I love that metal tire wreath. Great find.
Have a great weekend.
Hugs,
Bev
I hope you're enjoying spring! My links are #38, 39, 40
ReplyDeleteCarol,
DeleteSpring has been here this week and it has been wonderful. I don't mind it being warm because there is no humidity. How has your weather been down in Ft. Lauderdale?
I love all of the bunny decor, especially those pillows.
Have a lovely weekend.
Hugs,
Bev
Hi Bev, and thank you for sharing my preppy tablescape in this week's TFT. I'm sorry to hear of your MIL's experience with rehab. It certainly adds to an already complicated plan for the future for the two of them, no doubt with you being part of coming up with a solution. Best wishes for an upturn on that front. Thank you for being our host!
ReplyDeleteRita,
DeleteYou are so welcome for the feature. I love your tablescape. So pretty for spring. Yes, dealing with the elderly is difficult but something we have to do. It is exhausting however.
Have a wonderful weekend.
Hugs,
Bev

Bev,

Debbie,
DeleteThat was so funny about Joe. I feel for all of the nurses that tend to all of these patients, you included. I love all of your Easter decorations. I get hungry seeing all of that great food. Churches usually have the best food. Yummy!
Enjoy your weekend.
Hugs,
Bev
I know what you're going through! We just brought my 93-yr-old aunt from Denver to be near us in Dallas in a senior care facility. She never married so me and my daughters are her only relatives. I get calls almost every day from one of the aides, and it brings me back many years to when the principal at school would call (usually about my youngest daughter), and it was "what has she done now?". Most recently, she somewhere found $100 in $20 bills and was trying to "tip" the staff! So, she "helped" me search her purses and I told the aide I couldn't find it so she told me to check her pockets. Sure enough, my aunt was helping me look in purses when it was in her pocket all along! (Not to mention that there were 2 pairs of slippers on her AC unit & they were wet. She told me she didn't know how they got wet, but the aide told me she was watering her plants! haha ~ keeps me going! )
ReplyDeleteCindy,
DeleteWow, you do know what I am going through. She called to day and she that the doctor said she could go home. So she packed her things. He never said that. I know you have lots of stories, so do I. You just never know what it will be.
I feel for you.
Hugs,
Bev
As always, thanks so much for hosting!
