Thursday Favorite Things Party
Welcome to Thursday Favorite Things Party
Happy Thursday! I hope your week has been going well so far. I had somewhat of a sad day today - both of our dachshunds has to go in to have their teeth cleaned.
They were not allowed to have any breakfast and poor Louie loves his food and just kept looking at me this morning and wondering why I wasn't feeding him.
Once I put them in the car, they seemed to settle down until we pulled in the vet's place. Oh boy, they were so upset. Louie climbed in my lap and his mama tried to get in my lap too. It was 8:30 in the morning. I was not to pick them up until 4:20.
There were so excited to see me. They have been sleeping a lot but it was so nice to have them back home.

Bev I can really relate to this. It is so nice when you pick them up and bring the home.I'm actually taking Izzy to the groomers today. They always clean his teeth when he gets " The Works". He doesn't like it, but the vet is always impressed with his teeth. He also gets a greenie every morning. But just like your little ones he starts whining the moment I pull into the groomers. They only keep him for about 2 hours though. But the vet, the vet is a different story. The moment we turn down the road to the vet he begins to tell me he's not going. He's in my lap , he's giving me the sad eyes and well if I spoke dog, I know he'd be saying "nope take me home this is not happening today." When I pick him up he's excited and happy but when we get home, he's mad at me and turns his back to me for about an hour. Even if I temp him with treats and belly rubs. Some days it's just tough to be the mama.Happy TFT day! xo

ReplyDeleteThank you for hosting & for the feature of my growing Thyme article! This week I'm at #'s 79 and 80. Have a beautiful and safe week!
ReplyDeleteHope your pups are feeling better. I hated taking my Scottie to have his teeth cleaned. It was such a long, long day, and he'd still come home to me a limp rag. I always disliked having to put him under and how long the effects lasted.
ReplyDeleteHi, Bev; I feel sad when my pooch needs dental work, too, but at least they are asleep for the most part. Thank you for hosting another great party; I am sharing #81 Mexico City Street Food: Tacos de Suadero. Enjoy your week!
