Vintage Bowls as Centerpiece
Vintage Bowls as Centerpiece
Funny how things can become a centerpiece when you are trying to sell something. I decided to sell my set of Vintage Hall Autumn Leaf Bowls. I had them on my dining room table to take pictures of them. After a week of not selling, I thought of putting them away and then thought, why not use them for my centerpiece. And so I did!
I used some floral foam in he bowls to set them on. Added some leaves around the bottom of the bowls and a candle on top. (Not sure why those knives are there, ignore them)
I had bought a rustic garland - just some lights, pine cones and pieces of bark. I mixed that in with the leaf garland down the center.
At each end I placed candles that I made. I had these square candle holders that I use for various occasions.
I placed a white candle in the holder and surrounded it with miniature pumpkins. On the outside, I wrapped a beige ribbon around near the bottom.
I place one facing outward on either side and wove the garland around them.
At each end, I placed some turkey salt and pepper shakers. Not very fancy yet, but starting to look like Thanksgiving is coming. At least I could use my vintage bowls instead of putting them in the cupboard. I am getting started.

This centerpiece turned out so perfect. You are very talented. Thank you for sharing.
ReplyDeleteAmy,
DeleteYou are so sweet. Part of it was just because the bowls were sitting there.
Thanks for stopping by.
Have a great week.
Hugs,
Bev
It looks lovely. I think that's happened to me before too. It must mean you're not supposed to sell them ha ha. Visiting from You're the Star.
