Thursday Favorite Things
Welcome to Thursday Favorite Things!
Happy Thursday! I hope you are all doing well. We are having a lot of rain here in central Florida, but then again, it is hurricane season when the rain usually comes. The nice part is that it usually only rains for a few hours and then the sun comes out. My garden seems to love it.
How is your weather? I know that up north the temperatures have been quite hot. Mu Mom said it was to be 94 in Pittsburgh today. That is actually hotter than here in Florida. They did say that the north would be much hotter this summer. Those of you up north, is that the case? Well, wherever you are, I hope you are enjoying your summer.

We had a downpour of rain last night! Gotta check out my garden this morning.
ReplyDeleteMichele,
DeleteI hope your garden survived the downpour. Gardens like rain, but don't like to get beat down. Hope you are doing well.
Hugs,
Bev
Thank you for hosting! This week I can be found at #'s 29 & 30. Have a wonderful & safe week!
ReplyDeleteSuzan,
DeleteWow, I wish I had that many tomatoes. Hubby grows enough for him to eat, but I remember when I was a lid, that my Mom put up tons of tomatoes. We always had to help and I got so sick of them. to this day, I don't like them. lol!
Hugs,
Bev
I hope that this hurricane season is a mild one for you all! It is super hot here in northern NY and we could probably use some rain to cool things down a bit. Thanks for hosting! I have linked up at #41, 42,and 43. Have a wonderful day!

Hi, Bev; the weather in Southern Ontario has been very hot and humid, hopefully we will get some nice rain tomorrow. Thank you for hosting another great party; I am sharing # 91 Mantecadas - The Mexican Muffin. Have an awesome week!
ReplyDeleteIrene,
DeleteI would gladly send you some of our rain. Hope you get some soon. I love the story behind your Mexican muffins. The ones with the yeast do look a little fluffier but it's all about the taste.
Have a lovely weekend.
Hugs,
Bev

Hey Beverly,
ReplyDeleteIt has rained here most of the week. Before that it was HOT and dry.
I am coming in with Grilled Bacon Wrapped Steak, Easy Southern Pickled Okra and this week's Happenings on the Homestead.

Melissa,
DeleteThis time of year, the weather is really hot. The garden is struggling, but it is almost done for now. I hope your cantaloupes do well.
Have a nice weekend.
Hugs,
Bev
It's SUPER hot here, as well... I'm having to wait until early morning or late night to paint my cupboards so the paint doesn't dry so quickly. But, I'm all done, so yay!!! I'm at 137 this week, with my bathroom mood board!
ReplyDeleteJulie,
DeleteI hope you get some cooler weather soon. I can't wait to see your new bathroom. I love your inspiration. Her bathroom is gorgeous.
Have a lovely weekend.
Hugs,
Bev
Thanks for hosting. Hope the rest of you week and weekend are full of fun things and laughter!
ReplyDeleteWow,
Deletethat whole wheat oat bread looks so yummy. There is nothing like warm bread out of the oven. I can remember when my Mom made bread and we couldn't wait 20 minutes to eat it.
Have a wonderful weekend.
Hugs,
Bev
Hi Bev! Thank you so much for the feature! Today I'm sharing #84. It has been so hot here too, but the veggie plants are absolutely loving it. We have a wild strawberry patch in our backyard and Miss O loves picking the little berries every day. :)
ReplyDeleteSuchot,
Deleteit seems like hot weather is the norm up north this summer. So cute that Miss O is picking strawberries. I planted strawberries this year, but they won't produce until next year. I hope you are successful in getting your deft paid off this summer. We paid ours off in June and we so excited that we could actually paid cash for our pool and have no debt. It is a great feeling. Good luck with yours.
Hugs,
Bev
Hi Bev! That angelfood cake roll looks scrumptious, and I want it this minute! Thanks so much for hosting TFT, and I hope the weather will be kind to you this week. It has been miserable for a few days here, and if I can survive these barometric changes, I'll be lucky! I'm sharing some home renovation projects at #157 and 158 as well as encouraging quotes to pin at 159. I hope readers find these helpful and uplifting. Wishing you good health and a relaxing weekend. :)
ReplyDeleteMichele,
DeleteThanks so much for sharing at TFT. I love your updated bathroom. Wow, it is so gorgeous. You and hubby did a fabulous job. That is a nice size bathroom. I hope you are doing well my friend.
Have a lovely weekend.
Hugs,
Bev
Thank you for featuring our Triple Berry Angel Food Cake Roll. It is such a fun dessert. It has been hot and dry here. I always wish that we could have some of that rain that you are having - but not so much since we live in a desert! Our links this week are: #187, #188, & #189.
ReplyDeleteAmy,
DeleteYou are so welcome for the feature. I can't wait to make that cake. It would be hard to have our rain in the dessert, but I wish I could send you some. I am getting tired of it. I need to check out your bagel recipe.
Hugs,
Bev
Marilyn,
ReplyDeleteThose cupcakes looks amazing. How do you do it? My stomach is wanting something sweet and I think one of those would make it happy.
Hugs,
Bev
