Thursday Favorite Things
Welcome to Thursday Favorite Things!
Happy Thursday! Can you believe that we are almost half way through May. I think we are going to have one of those years where it flies by. Maybe it is because we are having so much work done on our home. We have had more contractors here than you can imagine. One day, we had three different ones all working at the same time. I think I just want it all to be done.
The pool is done but there is still so much to do around it and the yard. By Friday, all the sod will be done and the side patio. The last contractor will not be here for another 2 weeks. That's OK, I can enjoy the yard being completed. No more sand and dirt.

Thank you for hosting! This week I'm at #'s 25 & 26 with Victory Garden Resurgence and preserving your basil harvest. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your posts. I love Basil, especially purple basil. I need to plant more since we use it so much. I have not tried the last one.
DeleteTake care,
Bev
We've had the same idea! After sitting around the house for two weeks, we decided it was finally time to replace the deck and spruce things up. Thankfully outside construction and landscape has been allowed to continue.
ReplyDeleteI've linked at #16 this week. Take care
Sandra,
DeleteWe were lucky too in that contractors were allowed to work. It started the first week in February and it has been relatively good, but I will be glad when it is over and we can just enjoy it. Good luck with your project.
Hugs,
Bev
Hi Beverly, Thanks for hosting this TFT Party! I just joined in as #48 with my "Concrete" Birdbaths to DIY from cast-offs and found objects. After isolation cleaning and purging, all those "treasures" we have set aside to donate can take on a new life. And it's can be a family craft!!
ReplyDeleteI am so delighted to meet you. Wow, those bird baths are amazing. I love them. I use joint compound to make raised lettering but that's all. Now I have a new project to make. I can't wait for Thrift stores to open up.
DeleteHugs,
Bev
Bev,
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for always visiting!!
My link Ups for this week's party are #63, 64 and 65....

Stay safe, healthy and happy!!

Thank you so much for featuring my Lemons and Forsythia in Spring Decor post! It is such a thrill to see it highlighted here at this lovely gathering of terrific inspiration. I appreciate all your efforts in hosting each week. This week, I've linked up a Lemon Themed Spring Tablescape at #70. Have a wonderful day!

Lisa,
DeleteThanks for stopping by and sharing your beautiful garden. I am working on mine but it is going to take some time, but that's the fun of it.
Hope you have a lovely Sunday.

Bev
Hi, Bev; congratulations on your new pool and patio! Thank you for hosting another great party; this week I am sharing #74 Tacos al Pastor and #75 Chunky Pineapple Jam. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteIrene,
DeleteWe are so excited. I hope to post some pictures soon. OMG I love that Pineapple jam. I have about 10 pineapples coming and I pinned that so I can make some jam. Yummy!
Have a great day.
Hugs,
Bev
It’s so exciting to have your home space remodeled, but the process can be so wearing. I hope you’ll share some pics! My entry is #128. I am sharing my newly completed shawl. Thanks for hosting!

Michelle,
DeleteIt is nice when it gets finished. I love your crocheted shaw. I especially love your green toe nail polish.
Have a lovely week.
Hugs,
Bev
I know you'll be so happy when all your home projects are completed. During our kitchen remodel, the contractor wanted to be here at 7:30 every morning and I'm not a morning person! I finally have a new link to share this week (missed last party) ~ Plastic Flower Pot Makeover #41. Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteAllyson,
DeleteI will be so glad when it is all done. We have have some come at 6:30. I tell them to do their thing and leave me alone. However, the pool is right behind our bedroom so sometimes I would hear them. I love how you made over the plastic pots. They are so much cheaper than ceramic ones and lighter.
Hugs,
Bev
Thank you, again, for the feature, Bev. Always a blessing! I'm at 155 and 156 this week!
ReplyDeleteJulie,
DeleteYou are so welcome for the feature. I have a similar stove and we use it in our motorhome. Lately, we have been using it out on our deck. We love it.
Hugs,
Bev
