Welcome to Over The Moon Linky Party
Happy Sunday! It's another day in the neighborhood or maybe I should say another day at home. I ventured out yesterday and went to Target. I thought it might not be so busy. Wrong, people were everywhere and only myself and 2 others had masks on. The sales people didn't and neither did the check out people. What are people thinking? We will never stop this if people don't take this seriously. It was like just another day for them. I don't understand. Is it just me? What is it like in your area?
My favorite part of these parties is reading your comments. I feel like I get to know you and that we are almost like "texting" back and forth. You share your stories with me and I share mine - just like friends. So keep them coming.

Thank you so much for the feature, Bev. I haven't been out in a while, but here in NY, we have an Executive Order to wear masks in public when you can't maintain 6-foot distancing. Why anyone wouldn't is beyond me!
ReplyDeleteAnn,
DeleteYou are so welcome for the feature. NY has been dealing with so much I can't imagine not wearing masks either, but that is true anywhere.
Stay healthy.
Bev
Thank you for hosting!

Thank you so much for featuring our Lion House Orange Rolls. They are so tasty. I haven't been out much, but I actually go a call to go back to work the end of this week. It will be interesting to see how that goes. I work part-time as a cashier at a furniture store. Our links this week are: #86, #87, & #88.
ReplyDeleteAmy,
DeleteYou are so welcome for the feature. Looking forward to making those rolls. Wow, going back to work, that is interesting. Be safe.

Stories like that make me not want to go out! I find even our neighborhood walks we end up dodging people because not everyone keeps the distance. Today I'm sharing #165 :)
ReplyDeleteSuchot,
DeleteI know what you mean, people acting crazy wants me to stay home. Hubby and I always watch the kids movies - like Frozen II the other night. We watch more kids movies and adult ones.
Stay safe and healthy.
Hugs,
Bev
We've been getting all of our groceries and prescriptions delivered, so I'm not sure if most people are wearing masks in my area. But then the Michigan governor has gone way overboard - we're not even allowed to garden (I am gardening anyway - it's almost an acre so there's no worries of getting too close to anyone - lol)
ReplyDeleteThanks again for hosting!
Angie
PS My linkups this week are: #170, #171 & #172
Angie,
DeleteWe have most delivered except if I need something now then I send hubby. No allowed to garden is a little tough. I am gardening everyday, but we have over an acre so I don't come in contact with anyone.
Continue to stay healthy.
Hugs,
Bev
Thank you so much for hosting and for the feature! This week I am excited to share my favorite spots in Minocqua, a painted TV tray DIY, and my rustic fireplace mantel! Hope you have a wonderful day, and stay safe and healthy!
ReplyDeleteKristin,
DeleteYou are so welcome for the feature. Thanks for sharing your favorite places in Minocqua, they all make me hungry. Hope all is well with you.
Hugs,
Bev
Re: Target: I am beginning to wonder if some people are keeping their fear at bay by pretending the pandemic isn’t serious. Surely, they all can’t be that uninformed? I haven’t been going out. I’m getting my groceries by pickup and having my prescriptions delivered.

Michelle,
DeleteI don't know what is going through their minds, but I will not be going back to Target. That was my first time out in awhile so I will continue to stay home.
Hugs,
Bev
Another GREAT party - THANK YOU for hosting and keeping some normalcy for us during these trying times. I brought BEET PICKLED DEVILED EGGS, SWEET & SOUR CABBAGE ROLLS AND MRS. GIBSON’S CHOCOLATE CHEWS to the party. I hope you have a FANTASTIC week.
ReplyDeleteTamy,
DeleteThanks for sharing your awesome recipes. I have never made cabbage rolls that way, need to try them.
Hope all is well with you.
Hugs,
Bev
Hi, Bev, it's hard to believe that many people still simply do not care about the pandemic; I hope you stay safe and healthy, and do not have to go shopping soon. Thank you for hosting another great party; I am sharing #188 Chocoflan, sometimes also called "Impossible Cake". Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteIrene,
DeleteIt is hard to believe that people are not taking this seriously. That was my first time in awhile and last. That Chocoflan looks amazing. Wow, chocolate and flan together, it doesn't get any better than that.
Hugs,
Bev
Marilyn,
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for sharing your wonderful recipes and your tips. I love the brown sugar recipes. Pinned that for when I don't have brown sugar.
Hope all is well.
Hugs,
Bev
