Spring Time Flowers in Florida
Spring Time Flowers in Florida
I love when spring time comes here in Florida because that means certain flowers are blooming. Azaleas are blooming profusely at this time. I have white, pink and red.
This bush is beside the driveway and is large. We had two of them together but because of the pool, we had to cut one down so the trucks could get in the back yard.
As soon as the other one is finished blooming, I will cut it way back too so they can grown back together.
The other flower that is blooming is the amaryllis. We have so many that were planted around the trees with the peace lilies.
You can see amaryllis blooming in many yards. It is very common down here.
You can see that there are still many blooms yet to come. This whole area will be surrounded with amaryllis blooms. It always looks so pretty.
I thought I would send some lovely spring flowers your way. I hope you enjoy them.

Azaleas always remind me of growing up in North Carolina. My inside Amaryllis bulb that I got 2 years ago bloomed again recently and is so beautiful. I'm so ready for a sign of spring here on the Upper Chesapeake Bay!
ReplyDeleteAllyson,
DeleteI love it when the azaleas bloom although they don't last very long. I love that we can have the amaryllis outside and they do great. I hope you get spring soon.
Hugs,
Bev
Bev,
ReplyDeleteso pretty!! So far, nothing is blooming here which is good because it is way too early...It can still get cold and we can get snow into April so it would only kill off the blooms like has happened so many times in the past....Thanks so much for stopping by!!
Hugs,
Debbie
Debbie,
DeleteYes, it is too early up north for blooms. April can be tricky, cold one day and warm the next. Let's hope for warm days.
Hugs,
Bev
