Thursday Favorite Things
Welcome to Thursday Favorite Things!
Happy Thursday! I hope your week has been good so far. Here we are in the last Thursday in February. Another month flying by. Hopefully March will be ushering in some springtime weather up north, but that winter storm has hit many in the east. I hope you are OK if you are in its path.
We even were hit with bad weather as our temperature went from 82 down to 47 at night. Tonight will be 39. I feel so bad for hubby, each Thursday when he comes home, the weather turns cold. At least it will be sunny the next few days even if it is cool.Well, have a great week!
My neighbor gave me a compost that he built and so I have been adding things to it. I will take some pictures so you can see it. I am so excited to have it. Stay tuned for a compost post.

ReplyDeleteSusan,
DeleteThanks for sharing at Thursday Favorite Things. I have always had a small garden but when we moved here last May, I wanted to make a bigger one. Hubby built me a garden and at first I thought it was plenty big. However, I now know that it needs to be bigger. Today we talked about making another one in the back since I have more plants than space to put them.
Hugs,
Bev
Hi Bev! That is a big drop in temps for sure! We had the absolute coldest week this winter while my parents were visiting and they hate the cold lol. Just bad timing as the day they left it warmed up and snow started melting. Luckily we had lots of fun indoor things to do, and mainly the point was just to spend time together. Thank you for including my coffee post in your features! Today I'm sharing #98, #99, #100.
ReplyDeleteSuchot,
DeleteThanks for sharing at Thursdays Favorite Things. You are so welcome for the feature. I am behind in returning comments. We seem to only have cold weather on the weekends. When hubby comes home on Thursday night, it is cold for the weekend. Hope it had warmed up.
Hugs,
Bev

DeleteYou are so welcome for the feature on Thursday Favorite Things. Our temps are going up and down. Crazy. My Mom said it has been cold but not much snow. Spring is on its way.

You know I will HAVE to click through to the best chocolate chip cookie recipe! Good luck on that composting, Bev. I saw an impressive one a couple of days ago at a farm in Hawaii. The recommendation was 10 layers of wood chips to 1 layer of wet, and they said this lasagne method makes it possible to not stir the mixture. Not sure if that means anything to you. :) Today, I'm sharing at #151, 152, and 153, and I'm so grateful for you hosting TFT. Peace to you, friend.
ReplyDeleteMichele,
DeleteYou can't go wrong with a great chocolate chip cookie. My compost pile is coming along nicely. I have not put in any wood chips. I do have leaves and compost from the kitchen. It is amazing how much you can compost. I am so excited for it to become great soil.
Hugs,
Bev
