Over The Moon Linky Party

Welcome to Over The Moon Linky Party

Happy Sunday. Hope you had a lovely weekend and wishing you a lovely week ahead. So we decided to do some yard work. Seemed harmless, but went down hill after I wasp bite me on Friday afternoon. I am very allergic but couldn't find my epipen. Took some Benadryl. My right hand started to swell and by evening, I had to work to get my ring off before serious problems set in. By Saturday morning, my hand was totally swollen and almost to my elbow. What a day I had. It is starting to go down now and my arm looks better. That pretty much was my weekend.

    1. Suchot,
it was a little scary, especially as it moved up my arm. I didn't go to the doctors. Thank goodness it was so much better today. You are so sweet to ask. I have to agree that kids need to get dirty. My Mom always, said, you need to eat a little dirt. If there was a puddle, my son was in it.
      Thanks for stopping by.
      Hugs,
      Bev

  5. Hey, don't you know that doing yard work can be dangerous!?! I feel for you. A few years ago I was doing some yard work and got stung by a wasp. I had never been allergic before and was surprised and how much my arm and hand swelled up, and my throat starting closing off. I ended up in the Emergency Room. And now I know that I am allergic. I hope that you are doing better. Thank you for hosting the party. Our links this week are: #164, #165, & #166.

    1. Amy,
Yes you are right. It is a scary feeling when it starts to swell and you can't stop it. I usually watch so closely but he came out of no where. That oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cake looks amazing. You always come up with such great recipes.

Yes, bee stings are scary, especially when you are allergic, but fortunately it all turned out well. Love your updated mailbox. I actually need to do that to mine. So glad you shared here.
