Fresh Peach Sorbet

Peach Sorbet

My brother-in-law gave me some peaches from him farm and I wanted to make some sorbet. Most of the recipes that I found had way too much sugar in them. I am trying to cut down on sugar so I thought I wouldn't be able to find one that would work.  

And then I found it! One from Taste of Home. Can you believe that there are only 4 ingredients? It turned out so yummy. Even my grand daughter who is not a peach fan liked it.

Finally home. Hurray!! A whole month away. We have never done that before and I am not sure I want to do it again. It was a great trip but long. 
Our fur babies went crazy when we got home. They still don't want to leave my side for fear I will leave them again. Poor babies.

Well, we are getting closer to home. Came to our second home in Eustis this afternoon. So excited to see our fur babies. I missed them so much. They went crazy when they saw us.

Wow, we are mid-July and I am already thinking of Back to School, can you believe it. While we are starting to make lists and planning shopping trips we should not be ready to give up on summer just yet. The days are long warm and sunny and there were great ideas from last weeks posts. I am excited to extend summer as long as I can.

I called these "sorta" smores brownies" because I can't really say that they are really "smores brownies".  It all started when I found a package of these Nestle Smores Morsels Mix package in my son's pantry.  They had a cookie recipe on the package but I was being lazy.

My grand daughter had a big Lacrosse tournament this weekend. It is always so much fun to watch the grand daughter play.

We are into the beautiful long days of summer where it is hard to believe it will ever end. School is still far enough away we can remember and encourage our kids to lay out in the grass and watch the clouds go by (if your kids are like mine you have to put the electronics in timeout, to make them go outside). We love the outdoors and all the beautiful warm days & love to spend time with family during a more relaxed time of the year.  I know you are going to love the features this week. I love being on vacation but the driving is not that great. Fortunately, we are now in Vermont for about 10 days. Nice being settled for a little while. The weather has been beautiful. It was hot on Monday and Tuesday but today was gorgeous around 80 degrees.
