My Little Herb Garden
Do you like fresh herbs? I love being able to go outside and get fresh herbs to cook with.
It seems as though some of the herbs last for years while others have a much shorter life span. I have had my rosemary and chive plants for years now, while parsley and basil only seem to last for a year. We don't have cold weather here in southern Florida, so that's not the problem. It's probably me!
I have a great place on my deck for my herb garden. It is right outside my great room; it is protected from the afternoon sun, which can be pretty hot this time of year.
I love using this old scale to give some height inside this vintage blue enamel pan.
What are your favorite herbs to plant?
These blue and green metal pails are so cute and what a find at 25 cents each. They didn't look like this when I bought them, but I will save that for another post.
I love the wrought iron. When my neighbor moved, I got it for $5. It is so heavy and even folds up.
Well, my herb garden is ready for the summer and cooking. Have you planted anything yet? I would love to hear about your gardens.
