Valentine from Scrap Trim Pieces
I wanted to do something different for my Valentine decoration this year, but what? I was cleaning out some wood in the barn and created a pile of wood trim pieces that I used for testing paint colors. I hated to throw them away, but they were small pieces and not really "Valentine" colors. My mind started to work and I thought, why not a Valentine plaque. So here is what I created.

Happy Tuesday. I am so delighted you stopped by. I am here in Pittsburgh where I am freezing. We didn't have as much snow as we thought and today we even had some sunshine. However, it is to get very cold by Friday. I am hoping to go home on Saturday but not sure about the next storm coming in. Who knows.

Happy Monday! Well, I am here in Pittsburgh and it started to snow this afternoon and we will be getting more snow from Izzy tonight and tomorrow. I am just glad we have no where to go. I am not used to this cold weather, I am a Florida girl now.
It does look pretty and I know that I don't have to live here and I will be going home on Saturday. lol!
I said I could not live up north again.

Happy Sunday! I am writing this early so I am not sure how Saturday and Sunday turn out, I am driving to Pittsburgh and of course they are expecting a major snow storm. I hope I can get there before it hits, but I do have lots of mountains to get over. Prayers would be nice. My Mom is not doing well so I need to be there. You may be wondering why I am driving in the winter, well, I have an antique desk that I am taking to my sister for her birthday. I have wanted to leave for a few weeks now, but of course I wait until there is to be snow. Maybe, it won't happen.

Happy Thursday my friends. I hope this finds you well. I know the weather up north has gotten really cold. I hope you are staying warm and safe. We are even feeling the effects of cold fronts here in Florida. I guess winter is coming our way.
I am going to head up to Pittsburgh on Saturday. I know it will be cold but my Mom is not doing well. I need to be there.
