Happy Thursday my dear friends. I hope your week has been great and you are all doing well and staying healthy. August is coming to a close and we have made it through another month (almost).
I love this time of year as I drool over all of the fall projects and decor. I am still having problems getting in the mood for fall with the weather being so hot. I get excited about it in the evening and then the next day it is so hot that I can't quite get in the mood. I guess I will just have to pretend it is cooler. Is any body else having this problem, or is it just me? I hope someone else is feeling like me. Oh please!

Happy Wednesday everyone. So glad you are here at the party. So many of you are posting lovely fall inspiration and it is driving me crazy because it is hard to think of fall when the temps are higher than normal - mid 90's. I don't think I have even seen a pumpkin at the grocery store yet.
They said we would not see fall like temps for us until mid October. Yikes, the rest of you will be done with fall by then. What's a girl to do living in a hot climate?
I do like to see your ideas, so by the time I can get ready for fall, I will have plenty of inspiration. I did buy a fall throw and a fall leaf pillow for the sofa. I also bought some fall garland for the porch. Now to find a cooler day to get it put up. lol!

Happy Monday Morning! I hope you had a wonderful weekend and I am wishing you a great new week ahead. Can you believe that we are heading into the last week in August? Wow, did this month go flying by.We had a good bit of rain the last several days, so much so that we had to drain some of the water out of the pool so it would not overflow. We drained for 2 hours to get it down. That was a lot of rain. I wish we could send some of it up north since my Mom says that had not had much rain and everything is brown. Are you having rain or are you dry?

Happy Sunday everyone. I hope you had a wonderful weekend. Ours was good, some rain but that seems to be normal lately. At least we are not going to get hit by the two hurricanes. We will get rain, but that is better than a big storm. I hope if you are in the path of Marco or Laura that you are safe.
I am getting ready to plant some seeds. It's that time of year here in Florida. I did get most of the beds cleared out ready. My compost pile is ready as well. Even though my beds have great soil already, I like to add some compost when I start to plant. It's always funny when planting is ending up north, we are planting down south. Are you doing any planting?
My favorite part of these parties is reading your comments. I feel like I get to know you and that we are almost like "texting" back and forth. You share your stories with me and I share mine - just like friends. So keep them coming.
